Turns out the lotto did pick it up, hopefully just to distribute it to a higher selling location and not for destruction.

Also Dracos or Ron, anybody going to buy out Roll 245K at the Chevron on Silver Springs Blvd? Only 9 tickets left on that roll if I remember.

Worse than I thought. 54-59 ALL DUDS

I stopped by AK Kwik, they have a new stock of Super Millions and $2MJ. Here's what they have for anyone curious, and possibly looking to make a trip:

7372 <---- Yep, book number 7k! Where the hell has this book been? My experience playing through books at the very beginning of a print is that they've been very good. The last time I bought that $10 HG book in the 2k range, it paid back I think $615/$600 or $630/$600.

That's absolutely criminal, in my opinion. I guarantee you the bulk of books out there return that, with 9 winners per book and the very minimum, $195/$600. That's the reason you're getting burnt.

@Dracos, yeah I stopped playing that game REAL quick after I started seeing the lossses vs the winnings ( I keep up with that stuff on the higher ticket games) but it's only Gold Rush I keep up with how well certain ticket numbers do and I will tell you I ALWAYS have lost on certain numbers while others have performed well for me. That's the only reason I say (at least with the larger games) they may not be totally random. It's all pure luck but I believe you can increase your chances of winning. Working for me, esp Publix, lol and thanks for the congrats! I couldn't believe it at first then I said "It's about darn time" (except I didn't use "darn", lol)

I was looking through the $10HG location's list and found two new entrants for weirdest place to sell scratch offs:

New Jersey Auto Parts

and

Cakeworld Bakery.

Anyone know of any other odd places like these that sell scratch offs?

Most recent roll of Money Money Money yielded $110/$300, not as bad as $195/$600 but just barely over 1/3 money back.

You mention that $20 Flamingo game a few days ago, with the pay out of Gold Rush Doubler maybe better to buy them instead ? Especially being 92% sold out ?

To Dracos and everyone else out there buying up 2MJ books/tickets. After looking at the latest ILR report on this game and crunching numbers its kinda alarming that over 10,000 books are missing/destroyed on this game representing a whopping 600,000 tickets (60 tickets per roll X 10,000 rolls). This really scares me and hopefully someone out there can bring a different view to this situation. Assuming there are currently less than 200 books left in the entire state and over the past few weeks not one prize over $1000 has been claimed that i can see. Also its been months as far as i can tell since the last $5000 or $10,000 prize has been hit which considering all the books that have been bought up the past few months is also surprising/alarming and not in a good way. I do not mean to rain on anyone's parade or being a negative voice here because i love chasing prizes as much as anyone but would love to hear so other voices of reason regarding this game and the remaining books versus prizes remaining situation. Best of luck to everyone and I look forward to hearing your views.

There's "Three Amigos" Chinese restaurant/Food store in Boynton Beach. The strangest store I've ever seen in my life. It was a collaboration of Mexicans and Chinese working in one establishment that also sells lottery tickets. Kinda a cool spot, actually. You can eat general Tso chicken while scratching your tickets on a table outside.

@ Freespirit - I agree with you. I have also noticed some numbers paying out better than others. Over the course of an entire game with a large sample size, the number of small and mid tier prizes should be fairly similar on various ticket numbers. Skeptic once shared that with all his $500 wins over the years, the ticket number didn't really matter as he's found winners on 000 - 029 distributed fairly evenly. When I first started playing scratchers, I noticed Gold Rush tickets #6-13 did extremely well, and I found several $500 winners in that range. I noticed tickets #18-#25 also produced alot of $500 winners on Florida Cash.

@ Dreamer - Yes, the $20 Flamingo is 92% sold through. Once I get information on the book numbers for the $1M, and $5M prizes, I'll post them here and we can all take a stab at analyzing the numbers to come up with some potential ranges to buy into.

Did you factor 1-2% of tickets not being claimed? With 672k books printed (SM), 2% of tickets being missed would equal 13,440 books. That can very easily account for the 10,000 books that are missing. That gives me hope about the final 2MJ, and SM prizes being out there. Even if we were to only factor in 1% of tickets being missed naturally into the equation, that's still almost 7,000 books. That would leave 3000 books "missing, which over the span of 2 years including store ownership changes, businesses closing, etc isn't that bad.

I don't think the discrepancy between Instant Liability Report, and Book Inventory Reports is as bad as we initially thought if we factor that into the equation. Over the course of 20 million tickets, I think 10k books missing, most of which may have been due to prizes being missed by players, is fine and would not have affected the latter print (or the final jackpot that we're currently hunting).

After looking at the $1M prizes, I think at least one final $1M prizes should be in the lower 700k range (with one possibly toward the end of the print, 813k or however high it actually ends up going.

After looking at the $5m, with the two most recent prizes being so close (within the span of 50k) tickets, I'm inclined to think the last one would be in the 750k-800k range.

Those books could be in range for a $1M, and the final $5M prize. I didn't do any calculations, but guesstimating based on eyeballing the numbers, and seeing the respective gaps between prizes. Keep in mind there's still a good number of books out there with it being 92% sold through. That's still a substantial amount of supply, so I wouldn't go book buying on $20 Flamingo, personally.

I would still personally recommend 2MJ, and SM over that game at the moment. I think $20 Flamingo may become the next good buy assuming no top prizes aren't hit in the next month or so.

Thanks for your thoughts Dracos. I have a much different view on the percentages not claimed versus the percentages that the lottery chose to destroy after they were returned for whatever reason by the area lottery rep or retailer but i still appreciate your views. I guess with no decent prize claims on 2MJ as far as $1k or $5k or even $10k prizes over the past few months i become even more suspicious and pessimistic regarding this game. I have contacted the lottery and offered to open up a lottery scratch off superstore. This store would handle all returned full books and partial books of every $5 - $10 - $20 and $25 game. All books/tickets would be available for sale and only micro scratched/damaged/bar code partially revealed tickets would be destroyed and that would be after scanning them and reducing the prize liability reports accordingly. The lottery currently pays retailers 5% for selling and an extra 1% for cashing tickets and I would want a higher percentage since the workload would be huge in just inventory and scanning the ones getting destroyed. This superstore would clear up so many issues regarding current practices and discrepancies on remaining prizes. Just think, everyone from this forum would be customers....lol....especially on games 95% sold thru and up. I doubt the lottery will take me up on my idea for they have rejected many of my thoughts in the past.....I had given them some neat new game ideas which they never took interest in or replied to so i am not holding out much hope.
