They only keep games on order until the top prize is known to be gone. I bet a stop sale comes down for the old $20 monopoly now. If that prize wasn’t out there(like they knew it was destroyed) I bet they would have stop sales of the game last month

Games continue selling even after the last grand prize has been won, it depends on how much of it is left when that last grand prize was won - Money Stash (right now), $5,000 a week for life (right now), $5 Holiday a couple of years ago.. the last grand prize was won in January and it sold on till June or so.

Likewise, games have continued selling with their last grand prize never being won. The original 50x sold for a long time after a point which no other grand prize was claimed. $250,000 Cashfall, the first $10 Holiday (if I remember correctly).

I guess that’s true... maybe I need to look at the irl and see what remains of the mid level. That may play more of a thing as well on stop sales

So I bought out a roll of $10 grd. 54 of them! Got back $680. Two $100 one $150 and $50. Rest were between 10 and 30..

im gonna try to just hunt these guys for a bit

My opinion of $20 Old monopoly.. worthless now. There may very well be some larger prizes left, but if the supply is actually dwindling I wouldn't think it's worth chasing a 20k or whatever on it. Just my 2 cents.

Well after chasing like two books of $10 GRD. I think I shook out pensacolas supply... only keepers I got were a $150 and $250... wild how I always get odd wins that are less luckily to occur then the $1000..

I bought several dozen today and had a top win of $100 and a handful of smaller wins ($10-$40). I also bought a few $10k L4L and picked this up. Not too bad.

My thoughts on the $10 GRD. I've done some research (perhaps I should have done it sooner) on the game. The top prize occurs about every 58,500 books (3,510,000/60). Based on public information, the top prizes were claimed as follows:

Date Book Number

1 2/7/17 (unknown book number) best guesstimate 58,500

2 3/20/17 (unknown book number) best guesstimate 117,000

3 5/13/17 (unknown book number) best guesstimate 175,500

4 6/14/17 (unknown book number) best guesstimate 234,000

5 7/31/17 257,445

6 4/12/18 412,654

7 7/18/18 459,077

The book numbers for the first four claims are guesses, but fairly reasonable given the top prize odds and the roughly 45 day period between top prize claims. Nearly every book I have seen recently is in the 484,000 range (end of print run). I saw a few in the upper 280,000 earlier this month. The very large book gap (155,214) and time gap (9 months) between the 5th and 6th top prizes claimed makes me believe that the last top prize is probably not in the upper 480s but instead somewhere in the 300s. Although not exactly scientific, this appears plausible.

Also at this time (October/November 2017), Publix started carrying the $10 Holiday ticket and may have removed books of the $10 GRD to make room for the holiday ticket. If that is the case, the top prize was probably destroyed. If not, it could be sitting in a safe in a Publix or other shop. Just my two cents. I may abandon going after this game now that I believe the top prize may not be available.

Personally I think it’s out there... I’m getting books in the 440 and 450 range... nothing over $250 in terms of prizes. Three of 4 books were profitable in the range of $60-100 profit. Loss book wiped the gains out.. it brought back only $285..
