Stopped in Publix this morning and 500x was gone from machine and counter so guess it's all publix's

Had to go to Miami for work to pick something up and tried 2 of the Blue Ticket

Found this. Makes up for the 6 losses I had yesterday

You are absolutely correct in the $1000 and $500 minimum. On the pink 500X the vast majority of money bags are $500, but the 500X symbol is a different beast. In fact, compared to the 500X on the $1M Spectacular the pink 500X is much more rare.

Found this one last night. Went threw 14 losers on the same book by picking them up here and there. This one saved it but still in the negative

was Hoping for something better but after reading the emergency rules I noticed that a 20x only comes with a $500 winner

Anyone ever find a hot streak on a $2 ticket?

I bought some of the old $1,000 a Week for Life, and got 12 tickets. #31 - 42

7 winners

31- $2

32- $40 (2X - $10 + $20)

36- $10 (Single digit)

37- $10 (manual win all)

38-$2

40 - $20 (2X - $10)

41- $10 - (5 numbers with $2 under)

A bit surprised to get back $94 out of $24 spent. Although, I've gotten $10 worth of these on many occasions and gotten back the abysmal $2-$4/ $10 return or struck out completely.

I got one of the new $20 Crossword earlier to, and it was a dud. Sometimes the winners are in the $1 and $2 games, lol.

Considering the overall game odds of 1 in 4.43, I would have expected 2-3 winners from the batch. 7/12 is definitely a record for me, and I think I'll be leaving that roll alone since we see the tendency of these to sometimes have clusters of winners along with dry streaks. Is anyone else playing this game?

Hey Dracos, greater that 50% wins on a $2 ticket is pretty impressive, especially when playing that many. I've had 3/5 wins on $2 games and such but don't ever recall having that high of a % on 10 or more! I will at times find myself plunking down $20 for 10 $2 games, not a lot of stress if I encounter a bad string of duds and yeah, like you encountered can be pretty entertaining to get several wins. I like how aside for the 2 $2 wins you got all sorts of winning combos...those must have been pretty fun to play!

I haven't been playing that game tons, or other older ones as much even. The zero commission on cashing has impacted my relationships with many of the mom and pops I'd typically frequent in the past, who carry the older games. I used to buy well at them and be able to cash in $ above what Publix will typically pay out, but many have naturally turned away from paying out much, so if I have to go to Publix to get paid out any decent win I guess I've just gravitated to buying tickets there too...it's just easier than buying at the little guys but then having to cash at Publix (or WD).

I also tried a new $20 crossword and it was a dud...will probably try another one soon.

Nice hearing from you DRACOS and Congrats with the nice profit from the $2 scratchers -

CAPE - Whenever I'd have a bunch of good wins I used go to Publix to cash in ...almost every time the clerk would ask me how much I had and would be told 'we don't have that much cash on hand right now ' ..... come back later ....... I got tired of hearing that .......across the street is a Walmart so I started going there to cash in ..... whatever amount I had they always paid out ...... no problem ..... no come back later......don't know if you're near a Walmart ... might give them a try
