So I've been fiddling with a new system. As usual with me, a data based system. Think I'll call it the point system. Basically, I threw in every piece of data I could think of. Here's a quick rundown.
I make a table that lists 0-9 for each position. So that would give me 1000 sets. I fill in this table with these stats...
-Next Draw: I look to see what number fell after each number on each position.
-Deviations: Which deviation occurred the most to give a particular number
-Days Out: How many days out the number is for it's position
-Average Outs: On average, how often is the number out for it's position
-Max Outs: What's the longest that number has been out for it's position
-Hits: How many times has it hit in the last 30 days (in it's position)Here, I start applying points. I treat each position completely separate from the others. So number 1 in position 1 has different stats than number 1 in position 2. If a number has been out 3 days but it's average outs is 4, it'll get a point. If a number appears in the top 2 most occurring next draw numbers, it gets point. If a number has been out more than it's max outs, it gets a point. So on and so forth...
Next I create a table that uses the top numbers from the stats and makes sets out of them. I end up with 64 sets and start all over again with the points. This time I use these stats:
PairsTotal: How often Position 1 and 2 have matched, position 1 and 3, position 2 and 3
Set Hits: How often that set has already hit since the beginning
Total Sum: The columns added together
Root Sum: The columns added together using lotto mathNow this is where I'm stuck. I've done testing on this and it hits fairly well (when playing 64 sets...). In January, it missed 9 days (assuming a new group of sets were generated every day and played for seven days or until they hit). My problem is I've played with the new stats but can't seem to find a solid way to reduce the numbers without taking out the winning numbers. My goal is to get the 64 numbers down to 10 or 20, something I can play in store and not online. About half of the time, the winning numbers do appear in the top 20 (when sorting by the new points). However, a lot of hits would be lost doing that. Surely there has to be a filter or stat I'm not thinking of that will help keep those winners in. Any ideas?

Which position do you mean?
Deviation on what?
Do you mean DAYS OUT by days out?
Which game?

Why not stick to only positions 1 and 2 (a consistent pair generator will work) and reduce 'stats' parameters.

SergeM:
Which position do you mean?
I'm not quite sure what you mean. I'm looking to reduce the final 64 numbers even more. I'd be happy with a fewer hits if I only had to play 10 or so numbers. I'm treating each position separately until the second part where the sets are made. Then I'm looking at all three positions together.Deviation on what?
On the numbers themselves, for each position. Say 6 hits, and then 4 hits (for any position). Subtract 4 from 6 and you get a 2 deviation. I do that for each position, for each draw. That gives me which deviations occurred and how often they occurred (for the last 30 days). I apply the top deviation to the last drawn number. So assume 2 is the top deviation that occurred over the last 30 days and 7 was the last drawn number. My new number would be 9 for that position.Do you mean DAYS OUT by days out?
Days out is simply how many days it's been since a number occurred.Which game?
Pick 3adobea78:
I don't want to run into the same problem I had with my deviations system. At the end of the day, I was guessing at which deviation would hit, based on what had hit recently. It resulted in many wins but I still had to do the workout and guess. With this system, the only thing I'm doing is entering a date and my code tells me the numbers, no guessing. Right now, I'm getting 64 sets. Not bad getting a thousand sets down to 64 but 64 isn't really playable in my opinion. So I'm trying to figure out even more ways to reduce the final sets. There has to be some stat I'm not thinking of.

Hello, very good approach, I liked! You can register the result in two ways
Example = the last draw was 419 (draw order) and can do the analysis above
In ascending order in 149 (ie convert the draw digits in ascending order) -
Which position do you mean?

Pick 364 numbers? Sounds like 4*4*4, 64 USD per game for a straight hit? I don't know how you can pay that if you do not win. I cannot even post that on LP, my limit is ten combinations.
I consider deviation a statistical inferior system that only works on a wave that luckily was there by accident.
So for you a number drawn on Saturday is 2 days out by Monday. I suppose that your pick 3 is 6/7, once a day.
-
4*4*4 gave me the most hits/fewest numbers to create sets with. From there, I create the sets and hoped to knock down the number of sets played using additional stats (like sums, pairs, etc.). While back testing has shown the system to hit, I agree that playing 64 set is far too much. Thus, the post here.
As far as you comments about deviations being inferior. You are certainly entitled to your opinion. I've had rather good luck with deviations. However, as I said before, I'm guessing at which deviation will hit based on what's hit. I'd love to take the guess out of the equation and base sets on pure data. I had better luck when I was testing a years back rather than 30 days though.
So how about sharing your system(s)? Feel free to highjack this thread. I'd be very interested to see what methods you use for selecting numbers.

Include stats for front pair, back pair and split pair that gives you stats for a digit(s) to come in either exact pair position 1 or 2, 2 or 3 or 1 or 3 position.
Track exact pair sums and roots.
Track your positional digit for high and low frequency.
Track your positional digit for even and odd frequency.
Track your exact pair for high and low makeup
Track your exact pair for even and odd makeup.
Track your exact pair for no match or double.
Track your exact pair for a consecutive pair or a wild match pair.
Numbers are where you find them.

wow, great suggestions. I'm doing even/odd. Can't believe I forgot about high/low. Thanks a lot!

Your welcome.

You could check out the possibility of tracking the even_odd / high_low as one unit. This will give a maximum of 27 exact combos using the three positions. I have been using it off and on maybe 4 years.

I turned the script into a proc so I could do testing on a larger scale. I ran it for 2012 (251 hits) and 2011 (227 hits). But that's for 64 sets. Now I'm working on the secondary filters to see if I can get the set count to 20 while leaving as many hits as possible. Can't wait to get it working well enough to play.

Any ideas?
Hi, Manual
Can You program this link https://www.lotterypost.com/thread/260665 and add to your site as 'Adobea 78
Recurs', basically a draw set for P3 or P4 generates picks with each positions, thanks in advance.
