Ronnie316,
It's really a shame that Wikipedia is not considered a reliable information source by the "heavy hitters" here. You miss a lot. Many consider it one of the best in the world. But since I wanted you to be aware of some possibilities in your quest for profitable methods of number selecting, here's another source. (A researcher at the IBM Almaden Research Center) Note the connections to your "Playing Recently Drawn Numbers" approach. Wikipedia describes several alternative methods as well, but I guess you'll have to learn about them through some other source.

"The self-tuning, low-overhead, scan-resistant adaptive replacement cache algorithm outperforms the LEAST-RECENTLY-USED algorithm by dynamically responding to changing access patterns and continually balancing between workload recency and frequency features."
BTW, your above quoted remark is so out of character for you that I at first thought maybe someone had stolen your LP password. Perhaps some experiences on the night shift inspire you more than others.
Have fun!
