There's no shortage of "systems" out there. Google and you shall find. As you said there's a lot of "unhelpful nonsense" out there.
Are any of those "systems" any good? Well, if they were, you'd see lots of Jackpot winners, but then if I had a system that was producing lots of jackpot wins, why should I share it with anybody?
I have no secrets that I can share with you that will win you a jackpot. I do use some common sense strategy's, like playing most of my lines with 3 odd/2 even. That's because out of the 575,757 possible combinations of 5 numbers, 194,940 of those combinations have 3/odd 2/even. 2 odd/3 even has 184,110 possible combinations. I do not do dumb things like playing 1 2 3 4 5, or any set of 5 consecutive numbers. 5 consecutive numbers has never come out in any lottery anywhere. And if it does, so many people will have played it, that you'll split the jackpot with so many people that your share of the winnings will be next to nothing. Given how hard it is to hit a jackpot, if you do hit one, do you really want to share it with thousnads of other players??
Like you, I play Take5 just about everyday, but I have never hit 4 out of 5 numbers. Best I've ever done is 3 out of 5. I track the numbers using an Excel spreadsheet of my own design, and I bought Gail Howards "Advantage Plus" software. I find A+ rather interesting in terms of what it can tell you about past drawings. But will knowing what has happened in the past translate into what could possibly happen in the future? Do you know that in the entire history of Take5, in more than 30 drawings, the exact same set of 5 numbers has been drawn TWICE? I know that fact because I have A+. It'll tell you lots of oddball things like that. While that's interesting information to know, I dont think knowing it will help you win a jackpot.
As for playing The Cajun's picks, I've done it, and I can tell you that one day not too long ago, I played 3 of his lines, and I won a total of 51 bucks by doing so. I had 3 lines that each had 3 numbers which paid $17.00 per line.
So net of it all is this: Have fun playing, hope for the best, and dont commit more money than you can afford to lose playing the lottery. Best of luck to you.
