I wanted to give some advanced warning about a scheduled maintenance happening tonight that will necessitate bringing the Web site offline for around 25-30 minutes.

Lottery Post will go offline tonight (actually early Tuesday morning) at 3:00 am Eastern Time (2:00 am Central, 1:00 am Mountain, 12:00 midnight Pacific).

USA Mega will also be affected, and will be offline at the same time.

There is apparently a power issue with a critical breaker in the data center, and changing out the circuit will require me to bring some servers offline.  I have been told that the procedure should be completed in around 15 minutes.  With the time required to bring the servers back online I am expecting a total of around 25-30 minutes of downtime.

I'll be monitoring the progress in order to get the servers back online as quickly as possible and minimize the downtime.

If you're planning on posting to the forums, blogs, and/or predictions board tonight, please be aware of the time and plan for downtime right at the time specified above so that you don't lose any work you might be doing.
