my  current theory is to play every number once then  worrry about  repeats,

    2014 = -1016; 2015= -1409; 2016  = -1171; 2017 = ?  TOT =  -3596

    keno historic = -2291 ; 2015= -603; 2016= -424; 2017 = ? TOT = - 3318

Randomized, type "full lotto", pick 6, without overlaps:

      129 7 4 10 1 5 + 11 12 8 6 3 2
      1111 8 1 7 2 9 + 4 5 3 6 10
      1010 1 4 5 2 3 + 7 6 8 9
      95 1 7 4 2 3 + 6 9 8
      86 8 7 1 5 4 + 3 2
      72 6 3 7 5 1 + 4
      61 2 4 5 3 6

A pick 6 random full lotto for 6/42:

        4232 12 29 11 4 2 + 14 34 13 10 21 15 + 9 37 25 39 23 27 + 18 41 5 7 42 6 + 24 36 35 31 30 8 + 22 38 16 26 33 3 + 20 17 1 19 40 28

We might pick a full lotto first and add a smaller selection to that one.

        3011 4 6 3 13 29 + 17 15 30 7 12 9 + 16 5 28 20 14 21 + 2 23 22 10 24 25 + 27 1 26 8 19 18

To this selection we can add a smaller selection again.

        1817 10 6 16 5 4 + 7 1 14 13 8 15 + 2 3 11 18 12 9

We still can add more smaller selections.

        1210 11 5 3 4 2 + 8 9 7 12 6 1

        Finally.

        61 2 4 5 3 6

Here I used the random function. Using the numbers to create a wheel table this provides a wheel. 1 if 6 is sure and for the smaller selections the guarantee is getting higher.

With the example I made a wheel.

          92325273739
          101314152134

Write down your 42 numbers and fill in the grid on the right, using the table on the left.
If you want to randomize the table, and you downloaded CoverMaster, you can type the structure in the table, save it, then randomize or use your picks.
You can do the same in Excel or another spreadsheet program.

I would construct such tables with pen and paper, or type into a program, not using random. Using the FullLotto() function was just a quick way to show how one can construct a wheel, that is not in the common repertory.
