Those who run the lotteries love it when players look for consistency in something that's designed not to have any.

Lep

There is one and only one 'proven' system, and that is to book the action. No matter the game, let the players pick their own losers.

How Brooklyn's Jackie Robinson changed the world‏

View Jackie Robinson.jpg in slide show

As a teenage sandlot 2nd baseman myself, Brooklyn Dodger Jackie became one of my heroes as I saw him when he first took the field in '47 @ Ebert's  Field on our 12" black & white Philco TV set. His courageous attitude as a outstanding athlete & remarkable gentleman was admired & embodied the Brooklyn can do spirit that became the hallmark for all our  greatest product export- Brooklyn's outstanding talent.   Love all who overcome the odds Jackie we miss you.....but that winning spirit remains
Emoji EddessaKnight Thanks to Tania for her tribute contribution below   ~ "last week I watched an inspiring   movie – “42” – the incredible story of Jackie Robinson.
Bye the Bye Jacks's original jersey was #9
    ~

The legendary journey of Robinson, who was the first   African-American to play major league baseball, was
beautifully brought to life on the silver screen.

Of course, I was excited as a numerologist to watch a   movie with “42” as the title!

Especially since that number fits the story to a tee.

In the Ancient Egyptian ‘Star Wisdom’, number 42  symbolizes “Love is the only reality.”

Jackie Robinson’s journey is indicative of this message  – ultimately, he was a messenger of love.

Robinson’s journey helped people transcend their belief  systems about color and race.

He embodied Shakespeare’s “To be or not to be.”

Robinson just went and did it. He knew his actions   would define him as a human being. Nothing held him   back from doing what he knew best.

He did so under tremendously challenging circumstances.   Being taunted and mistreated on and off the field took
him to his limits. His secret? He did not allow challenges
    to break his spirit.

42  reduces to 6, the number of love, responsibility and   abundance. Robinson’s responsibilities were great, and
    he thrived BECAUSE of them.

The ancient Chaldeans proclaimed 42 to be highly  fortunate, which definitely helped Robinson remain   balanced and confident under the most trying of   circumstances.

His accomplishments as a baseball player are legendary.

Every year on April 15 – the anniversary of Robinson's  breaking the color barrier in 1947 – the baseball world
dedicates this day celebrating the importance of that
    legacy as “Jackie Robinson Day”.

15 represents the “spiritual alchemist” and reduces to  6 -- just like his jersey No. 42!

42 and 15 are numbers of Love.

In 1997 Robinson's No. 42 was retired across all of  Major League Baseball in an unprecedented tribute. His is the only number to receive that honor.

In recent years, players have honored Robinson by  wearing that number on April 15.

This means his number of Love is activated on
a Universal Day of Love in order to inspire the hearts of baseball players and millions of fans every year.

I love how the Universe works!

In breaking the color barrier, Robinson really  benefited from his current name number too.

“Jackie Robinson” resonates to a highly fortunate  number – 45/9.

9 is the symbol of unconditional love.

These two numbers - 42/6 and 45/9 - protected and
and inspired him to be the best he could be.

Robinson's story reminds us about the power of love.

Love ALL of what life has to bring. Love every person you come across today.

Love transcends all obstacles to abundance and joy.
