I just picked up this flyer in Publix. Starting today you can purchase the Jackpot Combo.

The new package play option, JACKPOT COMBO, is here!

For just $5 players will receive:

  • One $2 POWERBALL®
  • One $2 FLORIDA LOTTO® with XTRA
  • One $1 MEGA MILLION®

With JACKPOT COMBO, you will be in on all the action of the Florida Lottery's biggest jackpot games! Players will also enjoy the convenience of getting tickets for all three jackpot games in a single transaction. *All JACKPOT COMBO tickets are Quick Picks for the next available draw date and cannot be cancelled.

Keep in mind you get nothing FREE! not even Powerplay or the Megaplier.

I think Grouper was a better value because you got a FREE! ticket for Fantasy 5, Mega Money or Lotto.

Please Note: Because the Florida Lottery is committed to offering the best products and play options available for our players, we will be ending GROUPER® and offering something NEWER and MORE EXCITING! The last day to purchase GROUPER is Sunday, September 8, so don't wait – get your tickets today! The Lottery will be adding a new package play option beginning on Monday, September 9.

How to Play

Select the GROUPER box on selected game playslips or tell the retailer. The terminal will print six individual Quick Pick tickets for $5 for the next available draw, including:

GROUPER play tickets
1 ticketCASH 3
1 ticketPLAY 4
1 ticketFANTASY 5
1 ticketMEGA MONEY
1 ticketFLORIDA LOTTO
PLUS1 FREE Quick Pick ticket*

All tickets in GROUPER play are Quick Picks for the next available draw. Players cannot select any of their numbers or any of their games. GROUPER play tickets cannot be canceled. GROUPER tickets will contain ticket messages to indicate they are part of the GROUPER play and the Free Quick Pick ticket will be marked "FREE".

Yes, Grouper was better because of the free play. The new Jackpot Combo does not offer anything extra, so why buy it?

I Agree! This is just another attempt to make more money trying to lure players to buy "Jackpot" tickets with the worst odds. When I saw it I was confused as to why anyone would buy this "Combo" without any incentive. It is the same as buying 1 Powerball, 1 Mega Millions and 1 Lotto w/Xtra for the same $5.00 I will stick with Fantasy 5, Mega Money and Lotto.

I won't buy it either as I play "Powerplay" with my Powerball and not the Xtra with Lotto.
