Here a free -an early Christmas present Smiley Santa for lottery post members  - Pick 3 tool I developed: Pick 3 MP
Download link: http://home.tiscali.nl/lsystems/tools/P3MP.zip
Besides pick-3  statistics this tool offers 2 other (main) features:
1. Match Patterns Digit Ocurrence
2. Match Patterns Digit Skip

With the feature 'Match Patterns Digit'  you're able to backtest the  match results of hot, warm and cold digits (digits with high, medium and low occurrence; of course, you decide what is hot, warm or cold Wink) of the previous 9 up to 100 draw results, of the 'next'  pick 3 result . Also you have the option to use some 'fuzzy logic' by adding 'weight' to digits having a certain skip value or fall within a skip range. Now you can test the impact of skips on the match performance...
The feature 'Match Patterns Digit Skip'  is comparable to the first feature but now you're able to backtest the match results of digits and their skips of the 'next' pick 3 result.

Example 1: feature  Match Patterns Digit Ocurrence :
Digit(s) group GR1 has the digit(s) with the highest occurrence (for the latest 18draws in this example). Digit(s) group GR2 has the digit(s) with the second highest hit frequency, etc.
The current digit groups (when your game is updated with the latest draw result) have a green backcolor. The digit groups  with a yellow backcolor are the back test results (containing the winning digits)

Match Patterns Digit Occurrence feature

Example 2: feature  Match Patterns Digit Skip :
Skip group SK0 has the digit(s) with a skip value 0. Skip group SK1 has the digit(s) with a skip value 1, Skip group SK2 has the digit(s) with a skip value 2, etc., Skip group SK>=9 has the digit(s) with a skip value of 9 or higher
The current skip groups (when your game is updated with the latest draw result) have a green backcolor. The groups with a yellow backcolor are the back test results (containing the winning digits)

Match Patterns Digit Skip feature

System Requirements:
Windows XP, Vista, Windows 7, Windows 8 (32/64 bit)
      512MB memory
      .NET Framework 3.5 and higher

Zipped file P3MP.zip

After you extracted the zip file you'll get the following files/maps:

Pick_3_MP.exe: The pick 3 tool (executable)

Data: map with game settings file

DB: map with pick-3 draw results files

Stats:  map with exported statistics & math pattern result (you're able to open the results in your browser)

About the software

  • No installation required, just put the executable somewhere
  • No changes are made to your registry

Cheers and Good Luck,

SimonNoel

Thanks for a early christmas gift. Very nice tool for Pick 3

Any easy intructions on how to update the existing data with the latest past draws (other than manualy) ?

Where to get, or how to create a new data file for import of other pick 3 state past drawings?

      Thanks

          FLCavalier,

The code of the tool is obfuscated to prevent reverse engeneering (or to make it difficult).

Some anti-virus software like Symantec detects obfuscated code as a threat based on certain attributes (They're not telling which ones).

          http://www.symantec.com/security_response/writeup.jsp?docid=2013-110421-4535-99

Some information about obfuscating code:  http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Obfuscation_%28software%29

          Disadvantages of obfuscation

At best, obfuscation merely makes it time-consuming, but not impossible, to reverse engineer a program.[14] In Java it also limits the use of the Reflection application programming interface on the obfuscated code.[15] Some anti-virus software, such as AVG, will also alert their users when they land on a site with code obfuscated, as one of the purposes of obfuscation can be to hide malicious code. However, some developers may employ code obfuscation for the purpose of reducing file size or increasing security. The average user may not expect their antivirus software to provide alerts about an otherwise harmless piece of code, especially from trusted corporations, so such a feature may actually serve as a deterrent.

          Obfuscating software

A variety of tools exists to perform or assist with code obfuscation. These include experimental research tools created by academics, hobbyist tools, commercial products written by professionals, and open-source software. ABCME is an obfuscation tool that assimilates assembly code to benign software codes.[16] There also exist deobfuscation tools that attempt to perform the reverse transformation.

Although the majority of commercial obfuscation solutions work by transforming either program source code,[17][18] or platform-independent bytecode as used by Java[19] and .NET,[20] there are also some that work with C and C++ - languages that are typically compiled to native code, or work directly on compiled binaries.

2: select the Louisiana game record and hit the 'Load Game' button.
3: hit the 'Import Results' button and open the file (button) with the pick 3 results and finally hit the button 'Import'

Import file with Lousiana pick 3 results (12/29/2010 to 12/24/2013):

            12/19/2013,060,1

Example structure import file with midday and evening draw results (date, pick 3 result, draw sequence; midday =1, evening = 2):

             12/15/2013,787,2
            12/15/2013,924,1

I downloaded this file but only got around to opening it today.  I get an error " encountered a problem and needs to close" . does the program need to be in a specific directory?  I have downloaded it again and get the same error. my computer meets all the minimum requirements listed.

              thanks

No, the program doesn't need to be in a specific directory. It's possible  the .NET framework somehow got corrupted.

                Try the following procedure:

Run the  dotnetfix_cleanup_tool and uninstall all version of .Net Framework. Restart the computer. Now go to Windows Update and install all of the .Net Frameworks in the proper order saving 4.0 and 4.5 for last.
