  Happy New Year everyone!

  I was just wondering how much would you be satisfied winning a day on the pick 3 or 4?  If I get an early hit, I always bet back a portion of the win and end up losing it all.

  My target amount is $200 a day wins with a bet budget of $30 (so in essence a $170.00 profit).  If you won $200 or more in the early games, would you still play the evening?

  030 box for 75.00

  636 box for 75.00

  244 box for 75.00

  Thats 262.50 so far! Made my investment back and then some.  Common sense is saying take the 200 and leave the 62.50 to play tomorrow..............................but the other half is saying roll that over and make a killing tonight!

  Would depend on the odds of the game I won on. For example if the odds of winning are 1 in 1000 and I hit straight, I won't play again that day or I will only play $1. The probability of winning twice in a row with those odds is pretty low. Boxes have better odds but still, winning multiple times in a row is rare.

  • If the chances of winning the jackpot are so slim, why play when the jackpot is so small? Your chances never change, but the potential payoff does.
  • If a crystal ball showed you the future of the rest of your life, and in that future you will never win a jackpot, would you still play?
  • I believe Joan Ginther ("world's luckiest woman") merely played lottery as a tax strategy. Evidence: zero prize claims through 10 years after her last Lotto Texas annuity payment!
