There is a lot of PR effort to sell scratch-off tickets. How do the (state) lotteries hook people up to (certain) tickets? What are their strategies? Better graphics? Higher prizes? Make it more interesting to find out if you won? Scratching more to give one more thrills?
Compare (A) a dull scratch-off ticket (with poor sales) with (B) a successful one that sells like hell: WHY is (B) much better than (A)?
