The Mega Millions Friday January 10 and Powerball Saturday January 11 drawings must have been very profitable for the Florida Lottery:
The highest prize paid out statewide for Mega Millions Friday January 10: Only ONE $1,500 prize The highest prize paid out statewide for Powerball Saturday January 11: Only ONE $10,000 prize (remember these are $2 per line tickets)
These super high odds games have become very poor bets for the average player...

Duckman, There was a winning ticket for those games? The FL lottery webpage showed both games as rollovers. The only games that paid were the P3,P4 and Fantasy 5 games. Saturday there were no winners either, except the P3, P4. I was thinking there's some conspiracy since none of the big games had a winner two days straight.

Why , jump to a conspiracy theroy so quickly? Believe it or not a few average players , will win the jackpot in the end. Just maybe not in Fl. lottery right away.

My point was for MM there were NO grand prize winners, NO 2nd tier winners, and NO 3rd tier winners. For PB there were NO grand prize winners, NO 2nd tier winners, and only ONE 3rd tier winner, and that was for the entire state...

I think his point since there were no big winners in the entire state Yes, and overall it was a relatively low payout for what was probably taken in...

For PB, I think New York has a second tier winner.

Yes, and overall it was a relatively low payout for what was probably taken in... If lotteries weren't profitable for the states, they wouldn't have them. * you don't need to buy more tickets, just buy a winning one *

Florida is usually luckier than my state oregon but then you have a lot more lotto players than oregon. Florida gets their fair share of 5+0 wins in a months time. My state hardly ever has a 5+0 for either multi-state game.-weshar75
