Well, we're done playing around with the test and are releasing the Excel file we created.

The Even/Odd Low/High Karnaugh Heat Map breaks down Pick 3 combos into smaller sets and shows the hit frequency in each set as a hot, medium, or cold value.

Each set is separated out into Even/Odd combos, then each of those sets are broken down into Low/High sets.

Each of the sets are all laid out in a tables in the Excel file for both Straight sets and Boxed sets.

To use the Excel file, just enter the pick 3 numbers only in columns A, B, and C, like so.

Then choose a range to analyze and click 'Map Range of Draws'.

Also, you can change the font color to see the colors more clearly for hot and cold hits by selecting the type of Map Font Display shown below.

Below is an example Karnaugh Heat Map of 100 draws.

The map has an 'n' value for both Even/Odd and Low/High that can be used to look up combo sets in the following tables.

As an example, the following Karnaugh Heat Map shows the map for 100 draws.

You'll notice the colors are explained in the Scale section.

In this map we can see that Even/Odd 1, Low/High 3 has a hit count of 5.

Looking up in the tables we can find the Straight or Boxed combos related to that section of the map.

Have fun and Good Luck.

Also, this is a Macro type spreadsheet, so you may need to enable it when you open it in Excel for the button and other parts of the programming to work.

For me the issue was I copied and pasted the draws , but what I found out was that I needed to enter draws manually, Once I did that it worked fine..

Still back testing some .

Just make sure you're not tring to paste the whole number.

Each number must be in a separate column; tab or comma delimited.

Also, make sure it's real numbers not formulae; 2 3 4 not =INT(B4) or something like that.

To make sure you are pasting just values, press Alt, then E, then S.

It should bring up a Paste Special selection window, in the Paste section select Values as the option.

Just tried something and was able to reproduce the error.

We'll get back with a fix in a bit.

If you are wondering, there are other heat maps.

In pick 3 there is one that relates to what is known here at the Lottery Post as the V-trac and some other value system.

Also, pick 4 has its own heat maps as well.

possibly, but this is just a test sheet.

this is being worked in someplace else and no more activity is planned for it.

yes, they are.

we have had problems working through the website and found the ftp system to be a good backup access.

both locations are the same file.
