Good Afternoon Everyone,

I'm currently writing a play about a group of office workers who are pooling their money to go in on a multi-million dollar lottery. It entails all that could possibly go wrong/right leading up to the big day.
But I could really use some advice,if at all possible.
Here's the background:  The lottery is at an all time high of $600 million. I was thinking of the play encompassing a one week period - Monday through the following Monday.  I was planning on having two drawings. A Tuesday night drawing (the office folks don't win, jackpot rises and they get the bug to try again) and a Friday night drawing (There's a twist that no one knows about until they come back to work on Monday morning.)
What I've been wondering about and contemplating about: Should I have the first drawing be on Tuesday Night or should it be Wednesday Night?

I know this sounds like a strange quandary, but it makes a significant difference as to the flow and break down of the scenes/acts of the play.

What do you think?
Thank you for your time. I appreciate y'all reading this and I look forward to your insights.
Best of Luck in all your future endeavors.

You are aware that Powerball was hit last night, right?

I'm styalizing the game in my play to be similar to the Powerball or Mega-Million games.

Since the good draw will be on Friday, I think Tuesday would be the way to go.

Best of luck on your play- I hope I get to see it when it comes to SW Florida! Type Hurray!

Thank you Carvella05. I appreciate the positive feedback. I've still got a lot of work to do, but I hope it'll be a big hit one day.

            Cheers.

Maybe after they have a big win, they get attacked by Zombies.

Will there be any nekkid wimmins in the play?

A friend of mine wants to know.

                      chrisboggsplay,

You might want to tweak your all time high of $600 million.

                      Highest jackpot to date:

(From the News Forum thread, Powerball $400M)

                      • Mega Millions: $656 million, Mar. 30, 2012 - Illinois, Kansas, Maryland

Those who run the lotteries love it when players look for consistency in something that's designed not to have any.

                      Lep

There is one and only one 'proven' system, and that is to book the action. No matter the game, let the players pick their own losers.

This is just me but I play every Tues. Wed. Fri. and Sat. regardless of the amount, you dont have to go all in but it's always good to have at least one ticket in each drawing. I mean whatever jackpot you hit it's still millions more than you had.
