Under the Texas Public Information Act, a winner's name, hometown, the amount of their prize, the date of the drawing, the date the prize is claimed, whether the ticket is a Quick Pick or Self Selection of numbers, a cash value option or 30-year annuity, and where the ticket was sold is generally considered public information.

How can I remain anonymous when I start winning jackpot(s)?  I've heard where ppl start an LLC but unclear what to do

Ask your TX Lottery public records or legal department contact, or ask Kelly Cripe:

"Under Texas law, a lottery winner cannot remain anonymous, but the winner doesn't have to be an individual. It can be a trust, Texas Lottery Commission spokeswoman Kelly Cripe said."

I searched for a Texas attorney and found this article from the American Bar Association - http://www.americanbar.org/newsletter/publications/gp_solo_magazine_home/gp_solo_magazine_index/gerstner.html

She might be someone you may want to contact for an initial consultation.  They'll likely provide the initial consult for free.

Right now your bigger problem is winning a jackpot, you're already anonymous.

           * you don't need to buy more tickets, just buy a winning ticket *

I think they already won a $1 million with a 5/5 match, so they are ahead of the curve over most of us...

Finally, someone gets it. I thought it was just me. lol

Of course there are a select few others like Stack, and others who get it.
