A many of you know, LotSoft has an impost draws from file option, but the problem with it is that the to be imported past winning numbers have to be like this:
06/26/2013;2;3;5
06/27/2013;6;3;5
06/28/2013;8;3;6
06/29/2013;2;4;9
07/01/2013;5;2;6
07/02/2013;2;6;0
07/03/2013;1;2;3
Oldest past draw on top
Newest all the way down.
And of course you can't download them from the states' lottery sites like that.
You would need a program (software) that can do things to text files.
Here WinSumLooseSum made some Excel files that might make the work easier, the updating of Lotsoft, but I have not looked at those files so I am not sure:

When you start LotSoft:
Click on either "Pick3" or on "Pick4" then:
Click on the pick 3 or on the pick 4 game that you want to update from the list of games that you see there, then:
Click on "Import draws from file" then:
Click on "Select drawfile" then:
On the Explorer window that appears browse (look) for the text file where you have the past winning numbers (past draws) then:
Click on "Open" then;
Click on "Start import".
It should be something like that.
But first the draws that you want to import into Lotsoft should be made like this (I already said that):
06/24/2013;9;9;4
06/25/2013;2;6;4
06/26/2013;2;1;7
06/27/2013;3;5;4
06/28/2013;9;0;2
06/29/2013;0;3;8
07/01/2013;3;3;4
07/02/2013;4;8;3
In the Lotsoft folder, where it says "Example" look for this file xlsImport.xls, I have never used it, but it might help, you can also look for it using the "Search" function on your computer (Operating system),
Click on "Start" and you might then see the "Search' function there.
The sample of past draws that I posted above is for the USA, on Europe the Date might be something like:
Day/Month/Year

I should not tell you all about this, but on the "Data" folder you will find:
props.mdb
That file is LotSoftPro's "Registration" File, or so I think.
But that info probably won't help anybody.

About those who don't already have a registered version of Lotsoftpro, too bad, but I don't dare bother Ricky's family about a copy of Lotsoftpro that doesn't need registration, besides they might not know anything about Ricky's software and computer(s).
They might or not.
If in some way you lose your copy of LotSoft or Windows installation, you will no longer of course have Lotsoft and maybe so far it is one of a kind.

Just as there might be no good lottery programs for jackpot kind of games, there also might not be any other lottery programs like Lotsoftpro.
Some of the things that Lotsoft does maybe can be done with Excel, but I don't know much at all about Excel, people like WinSum seem to know a lot about Excel.
