The special administrated region communist let government in China instructed resort operators that smoking will be banned on mass market gambling floors beginning October 6, 20014. THis includes MGM Resorts, Wynn Resorts, Las Vegas Sands Resorts.

Money going up in smoke..... ???

Will see when the casino operators in Las Vegas & Atlantic City will receive an edict  to follow suit.

    NOTE BENE:

The Macau edict doesn't include Macau's private gaming rooms. Casinos can can construct smoking rooms which have their own air condition, heating & ventilation systems. However these rooms cannot include table games or slot machines

MACAU rakes in $4 Billion in May - all revenue from China's only legal gaming market.

You got that right about Atlantic City . They want to keep us gamblers healthy so we can keep coming back to play. Unfortunately public places to smoke are disappearing rapidly.

They are already banning smoking on the N.J. Beaches as well. Maybe an enterprising tobacco / cigar vendor will eventually open a  store where smokers are welcomed, but highly doubt that will happen.
