  Effective 07/13/14, IL Lucky Day Lotto goes from 39 balls to 45 balls.  Still $1.00 with some prize increases like 4 of 5 going from $100.00 to $200.00.  It will just have higher odds of winning.  It seems like they can't leave well enough alone.  It's either higher cost per ticket or higher odds of winning.  All they are looking for is ways to make more money for themselves (bottom line profit).  What they don't realalize is that more & more people cannot afford playing their little games of bottom line profit and are either playing less or give up playing at all.  Talk about biting the hand that feeds you.  Someday, they will learn a lesson from the school of hard knocks.
