Congrats to whoever won the Powerball in Colorado!....

But I must say that coming in second was not bad either....

Someone purchased a ticket in Manhattan Beach, California and will take the second place prize of $7.6 million as they were the only one to pick 5 out of 6....not bad!

Congrats to both!

Yeah PT- when I first saw that, I thought it was a misprint. How sweet was that!

From time to time some folks will rail against California's 2nd place winners because it could have a way lower payout than the rest of the country. How about them apples?

To play MM & PB in CA is an experience on it's own. Last Tuesday 08/05/2014 there were 3 players from Cali who matched 5 of 5 of MM and each pocketed only $58,076. To beat odds of 1 in 18,492,204 and end up with only $58,000 is tough news to bear. On the other hand $7.6M for matching 5 of 5 is Banana unbelievable.

      That money's gone fo ever
