Hey Everyone,

I purchased 6 $25 100x Cash Florida Lottery scratch offs tonight. 2 of the 6 tickets were winners which is consistent with published odds. However, neither winning ticket amounted to the face value of $25. On the Florida Lottery web site, the published odds for all scratch offs, none display a "lowest-value pay out" that is below the price value of the scratch off ticket. It says on their site that if there are errors on their web site that the result follows the rules of the game, which I cannot find anywhere. Does anyone know if FL State Lotto has unpublished payouts on scratch offs that are below the actual price of the ticket, or does this seem like a potential oops? I have never seen this before.

Never heard of a scratch off paying less than the price of the ticket. Here in Texas, a winning ticket always pays at least the cost of the ticket.

when I played in FL. 3 years ago, I wasn't aware there was a $25 scratcher...find it hard to believe they would have that kind of a screwup....oh well....send it back to Tallahassee. They are pretty good about responding to questions that I used to ask.

I agree with Stack's advice to recheck your cards closely. There might be two winning numbers on each of them.

If rechecks don't solve the problem, take them to your nearest lottery retailer and have them scanned. The "court of last resort" of course would be contacting FL Lottery HQ.

I Agree! , It is something wrong, with this scratch- off. If it winners are less then face value. May be your ticket has a multiply factor to it. If it don't call Tallahassee FL.
