Police recovered marijuana, tramadol hydrochloride, oxycodone, cocaine, and drug paraphenalia from the search. A marijuana grow operation was also discovered within the home, in addition to three cell phones and hundreds of dollars believed to be obtained in drug trades.

So he wins a million and invests in drugs and pot plants. Great work!

Had his money only 2 months and already got into trouble
- If the chances of winning the jackpot are so slim, why play when the jackpot is so small? Your chances never change, but the potential payoff does.
- If a crystal ball showed you the future of the rest of your life, and in that future you will never win a jackpot, would you still play?
- I believe Joan Ginther ("world's luckiest woman") merely played lottery as a tax strategy. Evidence: zero prize claims through 10 years after her last Lotto Texas annuity payment!

..he could 've had a nice place in Colorado and had a laid back life smoking all the potent strains of pot he could stand.

Yeah, it's too bad somebody more mature didn't win the lottery instead of him. Guess the only difference in his life since he won the lottery is that he went fulltime in the drug business haha.. loser

Cmon now people this guy had to be a habitual user on some level. So when he won the lottery he just saw his opportunity to go from small time buyer/user to big time buyer/user. People dont win the lottery and all of a sudden say "Oh wow Im going to become a hardcore drug addict". They've already an addict on some level anyways. Not talking everyone just the ones who get into drug trouble when they win

I agree. The guy was already a doper before he won the lottery. Winning a lot of money doesn't all of a sudden make druggies upstanding citizens of the community. On a more positive note, he can use his lottery winnings to hire a good lawyer.

What if this person was already in the drug trade before he win the Lottery? Depending on the size of the marijuana plants this person had & if he ever held down a real job at all. The question that comes next is did he buy the winning lottery ticket with drug money? You don't get to keep anything obtain by drug money.

No everyone that sells drugs uses drugs. Sounds like an inexperience "dealer" to me. A good dealer should NEVER be charged with "intent to distribute". That's because nothing should be packaged until it's being moved. Even then, it shouldn't be moved by the dealer! Also any good dealer knows not to keep anything where you rest your head at night.

A dealers focus should be counting money.

Yes... I did (dealt) YEARS ago and decided to start a legitimate company instead. To go from just under 100K/yr to 18K/yr (age 23) back then was a nightmare. I'm glad I made those decisions though. My friends/family are too! Had the house, cars and girls, but was a VERY sad young man on the inside. I hated myself for what it took to live it up.

Public service announcement... Eventually you will PAY THE price in a negative way if you're involved in drugs (unless you're our government). It's your choice and I don't judge, but anyone involved reading this should really think about your future AND your customers future. If it looks bright, then you're in trouble.

He should've made the casino his new hobby if he was trying to flip his money. At least then the worst that might happen is that he gets rolled out the door for playing/banking to much.
