I've been noticing how the LP Website has a tendency to pick up ads from other sites that I have personally visited across the web, and display an ad from those sites across the top banner, or down the right side of the page.

For example, on my computer, I visit jewelry design websites, and I've noticed that Lottery Post has somehow grabbed content from those sites, and turned the content into top page banner ads and side page ads

I was just wondering how or why this website is set up to do this ???

I notice that on practically every website I visit. Annoying. It will always lead you to more ads that are similar to what you have searched for.

Google will monitor what your interested in and post ads relating to it. You can opt-out of them.

You gotta toss your cookies every so often, so that doesn't happen.

yup....there were some seemingly gay ones too. There is nothing I could've possibly searched for to produce those ads  lol

Google Adsense and DoubleClick track you and try to create a profile based on where you visit to determine what sort of ads you see. Some of the ads I get don't make sense to me, while others are related to sites I've visited recently. One example I can think of is if I check out an eyeglasses site, I'll see ads for other eyeglasses sites.

Google Adsense also provides the ads on some Roku channels. So far I've been watching reruns of Dragnet and The Lucy Show along with some YouTube stuff and cartoons.  I wonder what sort of profile they are building on me?
