So last weekend we decided to take a cool road trip to see some football games around the country. I used to take 3 or 4 a fall and there aren't many cool football stadiums I haven't been to yet. But now with three kids 5, 3, and a newborn, I am lucky to go maybe twice. The past weekend we hit three games in the deep south. First on Saturday we went to see LSU beat Ole Miss at Tiger Stadium. I have never been to a stadium as loud at that before. Even got to run on the field after LSU beat Ole Miss. We then drove to New Orleans for Sunday night football to see the Saints beat the Packers. I was also impressed with the Superdome. It was not as dungy as I thought it would be and also very loud. We then after a night in the casino in New Orleans woke up and drove like a bat out of hell the eight hours it took to get to Dallas to watch Monday night football where the Redskins beat the Cowboys. I won some big money on taking all those points in that game! On the way we bought a ton of scratch off lottery tickets in Louisiana and Texas. Even the $50 one. It was a lot of fun.

This week we are back in the saddle and happy to say for Week 9 the Millionaire Maker fantasy football contest is back. After all the scratching and seeing odds of 1 million or one or more to win the top prize I love the fact that the odds are ONLY 92,400 to 1 at WORST to win a Million Bucks playing fantasy football. Actually last week I believe only 72000 entered the contest. The contest still MUST payout $2.2 million. The payback percentage was well over 100% That is a lottery I love to play.

This week we are probably going to play 20 tickets total going after the million. There are a bunch of teams on byes this week so not so many players to choose from.  Obviously the Patriots Denver game with the highest over under of week is the game where you want to target the most players.I also love the Arizona players vs Dallas such as Fitzgerald and Floyd as the Cowboys D will not be able to handle them. The giants colts game Monday night should also feature a lot of scoring so players like Beckham and Hilton are smart plays.

If you want to see more about the Millionaire Maker contest and learn about how 15,500 people will share $2.2 million this weekend go to

If you need assistance with creating a lineup let me know. It is Halloween and 35 degrees and snowing in Chicago right now! I wish I was back in the Big Easy!

Success to all you gamblers, fantasy players, and scratch off players this weekend!

I really wish more people would pay attention to odds and payback percentages. Right now the Millionaire Maker contest as of 12 hours to kick off only has 37,000 out of 92,400 entries filled. This contest will pay back more than 100%. It truly is your best chance at becoming a millionaire if you think about it. Plus it pays out to the to 20% of the field or so( more with the overlay)

****BEWARE If you play fantasy football that the game between New England and Denver tomorrow will be played in miserable conditions. A ton of wind and maybe some precip. Sure Brady and Manning can still throw for 350 yards but you must be selective there.

I am going after the million big time tomorrow. Get yourself an entry for sure. Heck even quick pick it. Blindly pick players. How great would it be if someone who knows nothing about football wins because they understand the power of the odds and when to get in the game.  Learn more about the Millionaire Maker contest at http://www.dailyfantasywinnings.com
