Another TRAPPING post for your entertainment or enlightenment (or to ignore).
Quick explanation hits = hits in any position; long = longest digit has ever stayed out; curr= how long currently out; harow = most hits in a row; charow = current number of hits in a row.
The important part is 9 is currently out 22 draws in all positions.
When you see 9 has been out 48 draws in the first position, 22 draws in the 2nd position, and 38 draws in the third position, it makes you, "hmmmmm........is this some kind of record?"
Maybe you do, maybe you don't.
I do.
Then I say, "Computer, have any digits been out over 20 draws in all three positions at the same time in the history of the Texas Night Pick3?"
And Computer says, "I'll have that in a moment, sir. Please forgive me for being slow. I'm currently feeding the dog, washing dishes, and deciding what you will have for lunch while you sit around wondering about these stupid things."
And a moment later she spits out.....
which tells us Texas 20 - 20 - 20 club only has 18 members since the beginning. I've probably lost money on every one of them too.
And the only digits who aren't members are 3 and 8. They may stay out a long time in one position but have never been out more than 20 draws in all positions at the same time. Some things you can count on until you can't. 9 seems to be going out its way to irritate me.
Dear Texas Lottery Commission,
You have made your point. 9 can stay out a long time. Please draw a 9 soon or I will quit playing.
