Howdy all,

Long time, no see. Hope that changes this year. I see that Versabet closed it virtual doors this year. Has anyone come up with a way to update the program using text updates from official lottery sites or anywhere else for that matter... Any help would be very much appreciated, as I hope to return the favor by doing some charts if I can get that done.

Thank you for your time,

D_A

If those files were written using one of the old Basic languages, you can look at them with Notepad and if they simple have the combinations followed by a line feed and/or carriage return then you can modify them fairly easy using Notepad.  Just use the same format for the added new records.  That should work for both random and sequential files.

          Hey RJOh,

Thank you very much for the info, but I found the thread that Igamble was referring to and even a video on how to do it by winsumloosesum. He is the man! Can't tell you how many times this man has come through for me saving me time and trouble. Now if I can just figure it out. lol Thank you wsls.

P.S. I put Versabet 3/4 on win 8.1 and it runs just fine. Not sure what the owner was speaking of when having to keep up with the new code.

If any other players have up to date Versabet 3/4 files for their state and would like to share them, I would be eternally grateful. Pm me and I will give you my email address to send them to. Thank you in advance for your time and effort.
