Nepal/Tibet/Kathmandu are all very spiritual and sacred places, on this planet.  Those people who live there are mostly Buddhist, and they PRAY and do their Spiritual Practices constantly, as a part of the daily fabric of their lives.  Thus far, 2500 are presumed to have lost their lives,  - "crossed over" into the next realm of existence.  They probably made it, into some Heavenly realm.  Their lives should be honored and celebrated, not mourned.  They left the pain and suffering of this world, even if by Earthquake [a Blessing in Disguise], and crossed over into the Divine White Light Realm, where there is Joy, Bliss, Healing, Peace, Friends, Family and Loved Ones.  I believe, they are probably safe and OK.
