This chart is the long version of the above return pairs.   It gives a better visual view of what is going on with the return pairs.

Wow rc2u, this really looks like a great tool for getting the flow of the digits.

I'm not clear how you came up with one of the digits in the 4th column, for example, in the top row, you have 182 followed by the pairs and then 482. Where did the 4 come from?

Ever feel like the lottery is one big puzzle and we just need to fill in the missing pieces?

Well yesterday in TN were textbook examples of the missing Short Sum puzzle that I've been working on:

I had pointed out these clues last week:

              Morning

SS2 was  MIA - 660 hits this morning

              Afternoon

              SS1 MIA - 641 drops like a bomb

              Evening

              SS9 MIA - 504 drops last night

SO as we look to this evening's draw, the only missing evening SS is SS4 which has yet to be drawn this month

For the evening I'm boxing the whole set and will focus in on a few straights.

              004, 013, 022, 059, 068, 077, 112, 149, 158, 167, 239, 248, 257, 266, 338, 347, 356, 446, 455, 699, 789, 888

Ouch 022 right there in my post but that mercury retrograde must have made me forget to review even my own post lol. Ugh

Lothob I will try to explain this in a little bit.  I am in a hurry right now.  Someone else may be able to explain it better than I can.

If not I will attempt to when I get back.

I am terrible at explaining things but here goes.  The 077 pair is open because we have not had a 07  or 77 pair.

The182 pairs are 12  18  28 and it was open until we had the 482 and the28 pair was returned. So we close the 182 since we had the 28 return pair.  that repeats all the way down and leaves you with the short version I usually post of return pairs for you.  I will cross off the pair for you that knocked off that row of pairs and closed it.  I just put pairs in ascending order since it is easier to find.

I see we just had the 211 this morning so the last time we had one of those pair was the 912 so I go up and mark off the 12 and close that set of return pairs.

Now we have the 12 and 11 pairs in it' place.  Once in awhile we will get a new set that doesn't appear in any of the return sets. I hope I have helped you understand what is going on with the return pair chart.

With all the doubles leaving us with 2 pair for each number we may have a new set of return pairs to add to this. We don't have a 4 in the return pairs right now.

The 022 knocked out the set with the 04 pair in it which was the 204 set.
