@ Danny - Very true .

@ Cupholder

Although this is a casino / online example, there are a few bettors who spend far more than that to get straight hits. Take a look at a recent example, with Lildarryl in GA:

http://www.lotterypost.com/thread/290079/60. To summarize his approach, he basically plays 566 numbers @ .25 ea, risking   $141.50 to gain $225 or $84 profit. His odds are a little better than 1:2. At first glance you might think that's crazy but then at the end of the day who's better off? The person who risked $5 per day and got nothing or the person who risked $141.50 and got $84? We always want to minimize risk but without risk there is no reward.

Or I know of a poster who is a store bettor in NJ and who often spends hundreds per drawing but also leverages her plays so that when she does hit she hits them for thousands. Who is better off: the person who spent $50 in a week or in her case the gambler who spent $1000? Clearly she is... but she had the money to risk and after all, it's her money...

In my visits to the store I see countless people spending $20-$50  per draw with no evident system. But what if they had a system that could structure that same spending and maximize their chances of making a profit. That was the line of my thinking in the last post....

You only play with the money you can afford to lose... because this is gambling!

    Well put lothob.

If you want to catch many hits, cast a wide net.

If you are not getting any hits, then take your hook out of the water.

Based on Cash's pick you may also want to include 851 straight!

Played it twice straight and once ext/any, also covered the 856 ext/any for insurance.
