So this week is a bit rare in the lotto history it seems since both are at quite high jackpots with PB at 188M and MM at 260M.

Some single jackpot records for comparison.

Largest single advertised jackpot: MM at 656 million in 2012

Largest MM: 656 million 2012

Largest PB: 590 million in 2013

For fun, had both record PB and MM occured in the same week, it would've been a combined whopping jackpots of over 1246 milion or about 1.2 BILLION dollars.

So this week, the combined PB and MM is at 448 million. So is this a record? Or do we know what was the highest combined jackpots in the same week for PB and MM?

Or do you ever think that it will come another time where both PB and MM are at super record highs....and that both will combine for over 1 billion?

Or for an even more unimaginable chance....what if the same person/family/group won both jackpots in the same week? (better hire great body guards/lawyers)

Cause of the price difference in the tickets, mm will soar! Pb will follow but will take off once mm is won.  At least that is my observation.  Most people have a budget and will play whichever will give them more tickets.
