Just hit a rather plump hand pay jackpot on a nickel machine. The bet keys were 25, 50, 75, 125 and 200 nickels. This translates to $1.25 a spin up to $10 per spin. I stated out "low" at 50 credits ( or $2.50) and the machine started to hit a bit more and more and I raised it to 75 nickels (or $3.75) a spin. I have always heard penny machines pay less than nickels that pay less than dimes...etc. I also believe mid to high range bets hit more frequently than using the minimum bet key. Any comments or observations would be appreciated.
