696 is a classic example of a number that back-checks extremely well. This one had all the earmarks of a winner. It has a double sync (with 289). It has a one-hop sync (with 071 from recently). It has a sync with one of my favorite numbers (643). This back-check workup is the kind that causes me to run out the door screaming. I just got sloppy and didn't follow up when I saw that 696 pop up in my workup. There's no excuse. I missed one. But here is the back-check workup, so you can see what I should have found. In this chart, as always, the most recent numbers are the column to the left and the columns go further back in time as you move to the right. There just isn't enough room to include the date info, sorry.

I apologize for reposting this chart, but there's something important that I wanted to emphasize here that I'm beginning to think is a clue I have been overlooking. It's about repeating numbers. In the rightmost column, look hard at the 289s. Do you see below where 289 repeated? Now look at the leftmost column, the most recent numbers. Do you see where 289 repeated in the recent numbers? What I've recently started doing is working backwards doing the back-check workup for every number that is drawn. What I've realized recently is that repeat thing is a red flag that I need to start looking for.

Well dang! There's another one-hop back-check winner. One-hop back-checks have been hot the past two draws. That's two. Now I gotta see if I can find the third one for tonight...

This may well qualify for the Too Good To Be True list, but here's something interesting I just found. I was looking for numbers that meet the one-hop back-check test. This is because the last two winning numbers have passed that test. Anyway 636 just popped right off the screen at me. You can see the worksheet below. It seems like a good time to apply my rule of three. We'll see. There are worse things in life than missing a Saturday-Night-Straight prediction, but it would be really cool to catch one this way.

Oh no! I made an editing error and didn't paste in the one-hop back-check column. Shucks. Well, full disclosure, I made a mistake and didn't paste in an important part of the chart above. I just got a little over excited when I saw that crazy triple alignment in the 2013 numbers. Here is the column I accidentally left out that actually shows the one-hop back-check:
