Ladie and gentlemen, we now have THE biggest lotto jackpot in US history on our hands.

And with the PB growing very fast over the past week (400 to 450 to 500 to 524 and just now to 675). It's easy to say that this next drawing will EASILY break 750MM and get at LEAST into the 800MM mark.

Now the question is just how high will this go?

We're already at 675MM, highest ever. The news media is going to go crazy in the morning and for the next 3 days (radio, TV, online, newspaper, word of mouth, etc.) And this will get many many people who don't regularly play at least chip in a couple bucks for a shot. And you have 3 full days to sell tickets.

What do you guys think will be the jackpot estimate come saturday night?

900 million? 950 million? Or even a very possible 1 billion?

I think someone will hit Sat. but something is telling me next wed.   I need to look at other members on here and find out their patterns.  This thing is crazy that a ticket out there from someone will lead into the biggest one in history.

"we now have THE biggest lotto jackpot in US history on our hands. "

Not yet we don't. Right now all we have is a record for the biggest advertising hype about a lottery jackpot. The real record is the MM jackpot that paid out $474 million as a cash jackpot.

In order to set a legitimate record for the biggest jackpot we'll need to see an increase to about $775 million as the advertised jackpot. There's a very good chance that will happen, but it's not guaranteed.

If it does, I hope those people in standing in the long lines at state lines were smart enough to get multi-draw tickets. Also, I hope people aren't cashing in their 401Ks and IRAs to try to win this.

At $500M, they sold 176 million tickets. At 202.5 million tickets, it becomes more likely than not that there will be a winner (and simultaneously, multiple winners become more likely than a single winner).
