Wow thats crazy. Its usually either really old people that win big, people that have never played before, or people really young 18 year olds that have contributed nothing to society.

I wonder if the person who left that completed play slip realize what they did.   And why didn't they run that number?

Wow! That is so cool. Congrats to this 19 year old first time player. He was definitely thinking outside the box, when he play the numbers on a play slip he found left on the counter. That funny! Green laugh Most people would throw it in the garbage.    Good for him. Party

I don't believe this is the winners story. There are too many stories like this. I believe the folks at the lottery made this story up.

What have you contributed? Growing old is not a contribution.

And yet some people still deny there is such a thing as luck.

Those who run the lotteries love it when players look for consistency in something that's designed not to have any.

There is one and only one 'proven' system, and that is to book the action. No matter the game, let the players pick their own losers.

                    +1

Before I was 20 I achieved something that takes most people in my industry 20-30 years to accomplish. On the road to doing so I was criticized by so many (older) people, including my own family. But I still did it, and the end result was undeniable and quantifiable. Age is just a number and when it comes to the lottery, age is irrelevant. There is no such thing as waiting one's turn, and everyone contributes to society in different ways.

If the chances of winning the jackpot are so slim, why play when the jackpot is so small? Your chances never change, but the potential payoff does.
If a crystal ball showed you the future of the rest of your life, and in that future you will never win a jackpot, would you still play?

I would have thought the filled out play slip was left by someone who had played it, but since he was the only winner with powerplay it appearantly wasn't.  Maybe it was used for an earlier drawing.

I have contributed a lot more than you I'm guessing from your snarky reply. You don't even know me lol. Some people on here.

And I'm pretty sure a 18 year old fresh out of high school hasn't contributed much.... It's just facts.
