At the request of a Lottery Post member, I took a run at the Florida Cash 3 numbers. I got the Florida Cash 3 numbers from the official Florida Lottery website and built databases in the formats that my programs need. When I was done, I had that satisfying moment of pushing the button and watching the first results come out. And then I just about dropped my frigging computer...
One of my programs searches for winners by testing every number from 000 to 999 looking for funny coincidences. By "funny coincidences" I mean synchronizations between the current numbers and the history of the numbers.
This chart for the number 159 is a great example of what I'm talking about:

This is straight out of the Florida numbers. In the secret language of lottery numbers, the above chart translates to, "Hello, Sailor." lol
Not only does the number 159 have the above amazing chart, it has ten such synchronization. Ten!?! Is that even possible? By way of comparison, the next closest number for tomorrow has only five synchronizations, half as many.
Because this was the very first time I had ever run the Florida Cash 3 numbers, I didn't trust the output of my program. In fact I felt pretty sure something was amiss, so I went back and scored the number 159 by hand. Here is the 159 chart, as scored by me by hand. The current numbers are in the column to the left. The second column is the same as the numbers in the first chart above. After that, the numbers get older to the right until you get back to the time when Florida only drew Cash 3 once per day.

Goodness gracious, that's a crazy hot chart! There's so much cool stuff in there that I posted the whole thing so you all could see it. To do that and fit it on one screen, I had to strip out the date information. Sorry. If that really bothers you and you doubt that this is for real, PM me and I will try to figure out a way to post the whole thing.
Anyway, the bottom line is this: Do Not run out and bet the rent money on 159, because these charts don't prove that 159 will fall tomorrow, but wouldn't it be insanely cool if it did?
I apologize for the long post but workups like this are extremely rare and the fact that it happened the first time I ran the Florida numbers was pretty exciting.
