Both pool and on my own. I only play PB, MM, and Tx Lotto.
I actually run 2 different pools at work for MM and PB. One is just with my supervisor & her reports, a total of 5 people. Then we have a larger pool open to all the employees in our office or that work out of our office.. 19 regular players, 1 semi-regular, 1 irregular, 2 never play, and 3 who asked to be excluded. Every drawing is a new lottery pool, and winnings stay with only those in that pool, and usually roll to the next drawing. All of is is well documented on email, with scanned copies of tickets sent out before the workday ends via email. None of the office pools play until the cash option hits $100 million, and if both are over, we play the higher one. Both MM & PB are over, but we are playing MM only.
When the cash option hits $50m, a friend and I pool $, but we only play whichever is higher together, MM or PB. We are playing MM together now, and doing our own thing for PB. Otherwise we play on our own whatever we want under $50m cash, and whichever is lower if both over 50m. We have an email agreement between us.
I do buy tickets on my own for the same game as the office pools. And of course, Texas Lotto I never split. Just not worth it to split.
I play all three, ever single drawing because even after tax, the winnings are more than I have now. And why not? Somebody's got to win, but you can't win if you don't play.
