Simulating the pool means following the premise of the game, the clue is ' the digit replacement' and the 'payout'. DC and PA pays $420,$850 respectively for a $ box bet, Ga payout is different. Do you think prediction for P5 is harder  than P4 and P3 considering statistical combinatorial? If you consider the pool, P3 and P4 has more variability than P5, then P5 is manageable . Lets test this with ' digit replacement' in mind.

 The next pool is dependent on the sum of the first four digits of current draw

draw                  next  pool                        hit

82906               7451--390862               37749, 77245

Clue> digit replacement, looking at the first four digits 7451, consider the format 6C5 with digit repeat.

The normal 6P5  is 7776 picks, so why not trick format by considering 6C5 without order (252 picks). The order is inherent with generated pool. Lets try the first 6 digits of the pool 745139, considering 7,7,4,4,5,1 ,

my 252 picks becomes 6 picks > {4,4,5,7,7} {1,4,4,7,7} {1,4,5,7,7} {1,4,4,5,7}, let continue with rest;

7,7,4,4,5,3>{4,4,5,7,7} {3,4,4,7,7} {3,4,5,7,7} {3,4,4,5,7}

7,7,4,4,5,9>{4,4,5,7,7} {4,4,7,7,9} {4,5,7,7,9} {4,4,5,7,9}

.

.

.7,7,4,4.5,6>{4,4,5,7,7} {4,4,6,7,7} {4,5,6,7,7} {4,4,5,6,7}

7,7,4,4,5,2>{4,4,5,7,7} {2,4,4,7,7} {2,4,5,7,7} {2,4,4,5,7}

Total Pick>28

 you can start another set from 7,4,4,5,5 and add all remnant digits.

draw              next pool

70966        4592---138760

consider 4,4,5,5,9  add remnant digits  > hit  55492,

consider 4,5,5,9,9  add remnant digits > hit 52293

draw             next pool

85968         4026---739518

consider   4,4,0,0,2   add remnant digits> h

consider 4,0,0,2,2 add remnant digits> hit  {0,0,2,2,4} {0,0,2,4,5} {0,2,2,4,5} {0,0,2,2,5}

RECAP>

1/ Simulating the pool using a parameter will 'map' the next pool.

2/ First four digits of generated pool is frequency-based, hence 'digit replacement' is inherent.

3/ Trick the format 6C from 7776 picks to at least 56 picks with note 2.

 This thread will predict P5 for PA and DC  only,  I did it with $50k prediction for PA 2 years ago, stay tuned!

NB> I am not going to discuss simulation process, the clue is already given.

          Adobea78, I have been looking over this post since August 1st when FL implemented the pick 5.  I cannot understand how the first 4 digits 7491 was used.  I see that the last part of the string is all other numbers besides 7451 however I cannot for the life of me see how the 7451 was derived from the sum of the first 4 digits of the last pick 5.

          I know you manage many threads, but when you get a moment can you please attempt to explain it to me in simpler terms.  I really want to learn. Thanks for any help you can provide.

          Blessings, gail
