  Because $17.2 million is the next Megamillions jackpot (cash value) that the winner would get,
  or that 2 winners would split (roughly 8 million each), if only they played!

  Yet, nobody hit either the first OR second prize.

  Come on folks!   All YOU PEOPLE.   Is spending a buck too much to play MM?
  Yes? You have too much money, already?  No, of course you don't. 
  Why, I'd be thrilled to have even the .2 Million of the prize.
  

  This message is pointed at EVERYONE, not just at people on Lottery Post,
  but every single NEW person who comes across this site/page.

  In fact, I would suggest that EVERY regular here, in addition to spreading the word verbally to neighbors and friends,
  post on their local Craigslist to spread the point even further.
  (of course, remembering to credit www.lotterypost.com and usamega.com -
  the worst that could happen is the post would be flagged/removed, though I seriously doubt that would happen).
  
  Could we all agree to do that, and then meet back here and post what we did?

  • Don't chase the numbers you play.
    
  • Play only numbers you've already played, plus however many random picks.
    
  • But, ALWAYS the regular numbers you play.  This will make you a winner, not a chaser.
             (so far, though, I've yet to win any significant lotto prize)
    
  • Oh, but always know where your tickets are, as well as your ticket's deadline.

  Good luck to the people participating in the Mega Millions game. I still agree what we did.

  I hope that one $2 ticket is the only one that matches all 5 numbers plus the PB to win the largest PB jackpot in United States history of over $2 Billion Dollars!
