BA, I AM NOT a naysayer. I believe your projections almost always work out. I've been following the digits out and pairs thing for a awhile, and I don't get these pairs.

The next post had the pairs I expected to see, although I don't see why you don't cover both sides of the digit. Mirrors.....

Yes more pairs, but when trying to hit a root sum projection with a digit out, just as successful.

Example, 369 came on the 27th MID. Yes matches the pair 69x. This number was not in your projections, so I'm guessing didn't match the groups of pairs matching? So without the first set of pairs, draw would have matched the mirror of 89x as 39x.

The projection still makes sense, I didn't understand the first set of pairs so based off the root 8 or 9 projection with either an 8 or 9 showing that would have made 12 combinations. Still very affordable for a straight or box  hit. And if using the BA clock it had to come on the 27 th anyway.

And did get a both root sums on the 27th. The 431 EVE draw which of course matches the 34x pair and the MID 369 which would have matched a 39x pair not listed.

        Still just learning..........

I was trying to figure out why Black Apple uses short sums. After reading through several posts to see if I could figure out where he gets his numbers from, I did figure out why he uses short sums. I found this in one of his posts...

          Vtrac 1 short sum=any regular  sum ending with a 0 or 5

          Vtrac 2 short sum=any regular  sum ending with a 1 or 6

          Vtrac 3 short sum=any regular  sum ending with a 2 or 7

          Vtrac 4 short sum=any regular  sum ending with a 3 or 8

          Vtrac 5 short sum=any regular  sum ending with a 4 or 9

          _________

          Learn these first

          VSS..means Vtrac short sum

It seems that according to charts I have seen (vtracs are also mirror digits) it breaks down 1000 number in pick 3 into 127 8 digit straight sets. So with this idea we have few digits to track representing a larger set of numbers possibly making it easier to find a bias in a given number set. I generally work with box number sets and I have as yet to figure out vtrac box sets. I am sure its as easy as assigning vtrac numbers to the 120 mixed and eliminating duplicates but as usual there is probably alot more to it than seen on the surface. But VSS seems like a solid way of tracking short sums.

Not sure how pairs fit into this mabe BA could shed some light on it???
