Does anyone play the Australian pools lottery?

Essentially it is a 6 from 38 game and the numbers are created from the highest scoring soccer matches for the week. Each soccer game is given a number, and the highest 6 games will generate 6 numbers.

I am unable to put up a link, but you can google it. It jackpots, but the current prize is around the AUD$115k mark..

It seems to me that if you had knowledge of different soccer matches you could increase your odds from someone just picking random numbers. That doesn'thelp me as I know nothing about the European soccer teams.

No and I don't have any interest in playing because there are more than enough ways to lose money playing local lotteries.

I played it on one oz site, but only quick pick. We have the same game in Sweden called Måltipset (goallottery) so im familiar with the game. The thing is i didnt find it easy to figure out which the matches are for the upcoming pools draw, it should be offered in a different way with matches clearly stated out in the coupon like in Sweden, then it would be easier to play. The screensave is cropped.

yeah I'm in Australia,  have posted ion this topic and may have even blogged here about it.  i dont like the fact the game has such a low following, and  prize pools are slow and low. never did grab any prizes , but have played and  as the game is biased, i do  bias my picks accordingly, but i dont bother trying to predict matches.

when the pot gets to over 250k i start to play $2.20 worth of picks.i stopped going after this one but if a pot ever rolled to $1 mill again id   pull out some favorite numbers and start playing again
