Going by the lottery billboards, I saw that someone(s) had won Megamillions. Checking the Megamillions.com website, they said the winner is from Illinois.   I hope they will get paid in a decent amount of time.

    Illinois has always said 4 to 6 weeks to get paid on bigger wins.

    Congrats to the winner(s).

      What a weekend! Both MM and PB won. Great time to win PB is Wednesday!

          I enjoy when MM and PB roll over not because I like large jackpots but because it gives me hope that I may still win.  It's all about hope....

            I had 3 tickets with the mega ball of 15 and saw there was a winner.  I was excited to think I could be that winner.  Needless to say, the 15 was the only number I had on any of those tickets.  Felt like a kick to the groin.  Then someone had to go and win the PB the next night.  I might just have to take a break from the lottery for a few weeks.

              I think you're referring to when Illinois wasn't paying winners.

              It's been cleared up;

              Those who run the lotteries love it when players look for consistency in something that's designed not to have any.

              There is one and only one 'proven' system, and that is to book the action. No matter the game, let the players pick their own losers.

                So, you won $1.00 x 3? That covered the cost of your tickets.  Not bad. Breaking even is a win in my book.  Wink
