For those with the app, I'll share my custom way of playing...
143 was yesterday's Evening.. 1+4+3 = 8. When the numbers equal a number, you use the number once or twice and then 1 number higher or below it.
So if you put 788 in the top 3 squares and 143 in the bottom, you will see 376 in the 2nd column. That's the way I use the app. There might be many ways to work with it.. I just gave the basics from what the developer said but I've found my own ways to use it, in which I was hesitant to share.
I have 976 in there twice because I'm playing 697 && 976 as a straight & a box. (Not a straight/box)
These should be tomorrow's Midday numbers or close to.. unless they switch up the patterns and take tomorrow's Midday from tonight's evening. I'm not calculating that because I'm kind of irritated so I'll just watch from a distance to see what happens for the next few days.

As I've stated, you take the sum of the winning numbers, which was 8 in both cases today and you either leave them or add 1 number above or below to get the next winning combination. 376 AND 251 are shown on the application using this method.
The method works. If the sum total is 8 ( 1+4+3=8) Then you're gonna put 888 -- 877 - 778 - 899 - 889 - 788 - or 998 ..etc.. in the top box to get the winning numbers. I'm still trying to figure out how you know which one to put at the top but it does work. If you check 143 for 376 and 251 combinations, they are there.
788/143 = 376 (Found in column 2.)
AND
899/143 = 251 (Found in column 1.)
If it is a double digit, the 2nd number counts and that's it. So for example, let's say the winning numbers are 298. (Taken from 8/31/2016.)
2+9+8 = 19. The 9 is the only number that counts. So you put 999 - 998 - 889 - 009 - 990 etc.. to see the 10 combos the application gives to you. It seems like most of the time, it uses 1 number above or below once or twice.
Check For Yourself! :-)
1.Choose "Custom Pick" on the app.
2.Put 998 in the top 3 squares and put 298 in the bottom 3 squares and press "Run Numbers."
You will see for yourself that in the 2nd column 255 comes up and the following winning combo was 552. (9/01/2016.)
The key is to know WHAT numbers to use because sometimes the P3 will come from the previous Midday or Evening and that gets annoying if you play Evening 4 Evening and then the lottery picks Mid 4Mid and etc.. That's the trouble I'm having. I think if I play around with the numbers long enough I could figure out what sums to use.. ( 998-889..etc...etc..) .. It's the previous lottery numbers that stump me.

Also 291 is a possibility for tomorrow's Evening or Midday.
1+5+2 = 8 && 7+6+3 = 16.
898/152 = 291 AND 667/763 = 291. That's just something interesting I noticed.
