Do you know if Zig Ziglar is still alive and motivating us to live a better life? I guess that he will live on in his books, videos, etc,

Hey Music, Zig Zigler is one of my favorites! He passed away in 2012. You are correct, his books, videos, youtubes will keep his words alive for a long time to come. Sorry to cut in, I just wanted to add my two cents about Zigler!

Oh and I have never received money from a lottery winner either.

A former co-worker once bought me a few scratchers. None won, but he then bought himself one too, which won $100, and he gave it to me. I immediately refused it and gave it back to him, because it was his ticket, not mine. He bought me a bottle of wine with his winnings. What a guy he was!

Never had a family member or a close friend win anything in the lottery. So I would have to say never.

What higher purpose could there possible be than to replace infrastructure in flood-prone coastal areas with federal tax funds, debt-free college, and the 53% subsidizing the 47%!

No. But have won $ 10.00 on a QP. And gave $ 8.00 away to the people with me so they could play Keno. They lost.

In 2013 mom won a Top prize on a video lottery machine called lotus flower for $5000 she cashed the check and gave me $1000. Mom is very generous!-weshar75

Yes, I have received money from a lottery winner.

It was someone I knew from the store I played "Quick Draw" (NYS's Keno game).

He hit big for about $2,500 and gave me and a few others $50 each.

I didn't expect it and was surprised when I got it.

I've gotten a couple of emails claiming a lottery winner wants to give me money. I'd write back, but I'm too busy working with a Nigerian prince to help move his money to the US.

Well I am going to marry a prince with a chateau in the south of France. I have spoken to him many times. Though it is odd that he does not speak a word of French. As soon as I send him another $29,000 for his visa, we shall live happily ever after.
