  I purchased the software less than one year ago, and have run into some major challenges. Would like to see if anyone else is having these issues and how to overcome them.

  Issue #1 – basic filters take a long time to generate, and too many of them return zero results. I have tried to use their basic filters (they have 50) and they simply do not work effectively. They have this annoying 90’s pop-up that asks if you want to delete failed lines and anytime you select yes, you get ZERO results back! If you select “no” then the filter doesn’t change any of the results. I do not have this issue with FFWG from Smartluck (I’m not selling Smartluck, just making a comparison since I own a license for this too).

  Issue #2 – their help documentation is so very basic that it really isn’t usable. In the course of trying to use the filters I turned to their help section. Well, that proved to be hours of wasted reading and without any real usable information. I was expecting to at least see some college level reading but no luck at that. If you want to learn how to navigate the application then by all means that’s what their help document is about, but if you’re looking for just one real section on how to build and use a filter, or understand any of their logic you will not find it. No-one is asking for secrets, just how to use it correctly.

  Issue #3 – video based help for filtering. They provide a video on how to setup and use a filter. So, I tried following the instructions step by step and voila nothing!! In fact, advanced filters do not work at all in this application, not even one! Their video tutorial uses outdated mouse movements with added text boxes for your viewing pleasure. You would think they could have someone “talk” while showing you how to use the application. I do want to repeat; ADVANCED FILTERS DO NOT WORK. I’m using version “Lotto 007 Ultimate 2016.1.0”.

  Issue #4 – I bought the software less than one year ago, and per their own terms and conditions you are entitled to a free upgrade within one year. Well, NOPE, not going to happen. Their one-man team refuses to answer any questions about a free upgrade, but instead just sends a sales pitch about upgrading for 50% off. It is so strange that this company won’t even answer questions via email, they just send canned responses. Their 2017 upgrade, if you call it that, supports wheel reduction guarantee, sorting modes with advanced filters, and fixed some bugs! Yep, that’s it! All these great upgrades and they refuse to provide an upgrade for license holders who purchased less than a year ago.

  Issue #5 – getting updated numbers for each lottery. They don’t make this easy. You must go through five steps to refresh the winning numbers drawn for one game. Unfortunately you must go through these steps for each of your favorite games so for me it’s 20 steps to update Powerball, Megamillions, Superlotto and Fantasy5. As of today, 01/21/2017, Powerball no longer is being updated with the last date of 12/03/2016… getting a weird message that I need to enter the dates manually for the database. Well last I checked Powerball is still an active game with no changes in numbers, so apparently, this software just stopped working for no reason, is being blocked so that I am forced to upgrade or some other issue. All other lotteries update to current dates so it’s not me.

  I wish I could at least provide one good comment about this software, but I can’t because my expereince has been the opposite of good since I bought it. They have a very hefty purchase price for an application that just doesn’t work.

  As of now I would not recommend this application. Their interface is very outdated, filters don’t work, games are not being updated, help documentation is below basic and support is lacking completely.

  If you compare the price and what you get with what some Steve Players systems cost, this is cheap. $ 119 for such a program with programmed interface is not so expensive. When clicking on the pay button the price in euros is much higher. The program looks a bit complex and they supply the drawings you wrote? I hope for you that the general filters are working. Software is not solid like a brick, it runs on an OS and there can be surprises. Updates can be poison too. So you paid $139.

  If you had the program a year and are experiencing problems lately, it might be caused by an update. (Something has had to change if you used it a year and are just now experiencing problems.)

  As far as not allowing a free upgrade read the fine print. Most software has a disclaimer entitling the buyer to any new releases or upgrades during the calendar year purchased. Its not something we want to agree with, but in this case the seller/owner makes the rules. (In most cases you're lucky if these small operations are still in business the next year.)

  BTW, Lottery System Reviews says its a waste of money and advises not putting any money in these peoples pockets......and.....

  "Lotto 007 / Lotto007 Prediction Expert / Lotto PowerPlayer Pro – ‘Lotto 007 XP 2012′ includes features to check results and print tickets which could be useful. It’s also full of filtering and anlysis features which some may enjoy – although despite what the claims these do not make the slightest difference to your chances of winning. The software design is very 1990’s (it’s more ’95’ than ‘XP’), and not user friendly. But at least “it contain more than 1521 formulas”. The manual is frankly appalling.  And “Prediction Expert” – well, it hasn’t helped the publisher much in the last 12 years."

  I'm probably here unless I'm not.
  Dreaming would be a perfectly useless function if it's only purpose was to entertain.

  Thanks, I didn't think about "within the year", I just naturally assumed 365 days. Morally, it's the right thing to do, but as you pointed out, Lotto007 Prediction Expert hasn't helped the publisher yet. Sad, but they lost a customer for life. I may try to get the thing working but won't spend too much time on it.

  Only their Powerball update is failing, the other updates do work, albeit many steps. I haven't updated their app, so if it is an update related to my pc, I would think the other lottery updates would fail too. I'm thinking they fixed something on their end, now I have a product that doesn't work right anymore, and they apparently won't provide a patch without a price. Lesson learned for this company.

  You stated not been updated no more that would be correct i would ask the author or the company why is the data out dated with old dates another words they haven't done any updates to the software data.
