I checked TLC first. www.tlc/schedule. There were no lottery shows list up till March 16
- I then checked HGTV. www.hgtv.com/shows/tv-schedule My Lottery Dream Home. I will list the show's day, date, and the time (Pacific Time) of the first show till the end of the last one.
Friday, March 3, 8 pm - 10 pm. 12 am - 1 am. 3 am - 4 am

Friday, March 10, 8pm - 10 pm. 12 am - 1 am. 3 am - 4 am

Friday, March 17, 8 pm - 10 pm. 12:30 am, 3 am - 4 am.

Friday, March 24, A Marathon from 1 pm till 10 pm. 12 am - 1 am, 3 am - 4 am

Hello everyone,

I thought I would mention, in addition to the TV series you can purchase a movie on Amazon Prime called Luck. Luck reviews the lives of several lotto winners. It was directed by Jeffery Blitz.

I have seen a couple of these shows. The guy who is showing them the houses seems to be a bit 'pushy' about the winners being 'rich' and pushes them to spend more then they say they want to. But a very fun show to watch.

Alan, I found the video. It is Lucky directed by Jeffrey Blitz. I am watching it on a 30 day free trial of Amazon Prime. I can watch it for another three days for paying once, today.

I really enjoyed seeing the winner's lives and how everything changes for them. Winning does reveal the character and personality of them and their families.

It's called Lucky. No need to buy it (like I did), just rent it. It's really not interesting enough to warrant buying. I think only the Whites' story was the only one to learn from.

Yes, Teddi, I rented it with my Amazon Prime trial membership. I have watched it four times already and I learn something new every time. I have about 24 hours left for me to view it again. It all cost me $2.99.

Lucky is a very positive show and quite realistic. The Vietnamese winners are wonderful examples to follow.

Bud Post and his life are informative.

James Gratski's life was saved from suicide by winning.

Robert Uomini did not expect to win. His story is unique and funny.

Yes, Steven and Christine White's win showed me how other people will change when I win. They had to move to Florida to get away from that crowd. There is an entitlement spirit when it comes to winning. Others expect you to share because they played the game too.

I do appreciate all the winners voluntarily participating in Lucky. Today is different and probably would not be possible to find winners like these again.

Lucky is a positive story while THS: The Curse of the Lottery is negative. The yin and the yang.

I also looked at TLC's The Lottery Changed My Life but there are no episodes through Sunday, May 14,

I have to rewatch as I don't remember who James is. Is he the one in the motel with the cats? If it is, just so you know, he gave up his home and went back to living in that crappy motel. I think it's funny that he quite blatantly uses call girls for sex. People seem to overlook that little tidbit. I don't trust his friend. The friend says "we" too much and makes a point of saying all he does for James. Yet James went months without bathing, had no food and was living in filth. What was he doing for James BEFORE the win?

Robert had a humdrum life before, and after winning, he did most of the things he always wanted to do, realized it wasn't practical to do the other things he'd planned to do, but is somewhat disappointed that winning the lottery took away his dreams.

The White's friends never felt entitled. If it was about entitlement, those people would have been mad about the Whites not paying for this, or not giving them more for that. That's not what happened here. Those people simply hate the Whites for being the ones who won.

A movie critic called their story the saddest one of all. I wouldn't go that far, but they went through some bad things and it changed who they were.

That lady who refuses to have savings put aside and has no retirement account because she spends so much money playing the lottery is a cautionary tale. She's obviously one of those who would lose everything she won within a year. She's promised everyone something and will have no idea how to manage it. At least the Whites make a point of saying that they have to spend hours every single day managing the money. They understand the necessity of doing that. This woman would not.

Whether she wins or not, she's going to die broke.

Teddi, I misspelled James Gatski's last name. No R in it. Yes, he is the one who feeds his cats from the same menu he orders from. It is a shame that he is supporting the flesh trade. That was a beautiful home he gave up and sold.

I agree with you on the White's. When a LP Member wins he/she will get to experience the darker side of humanity. It is not a pretty sight.

Verna does not know how to plan. I hope she wins big.
