Greetings everyone! I have been lurking in this Forum for the past 10 years or so and have been enjoying all the discussion regarding Systems and Strategies, mostly pertaining to Pick 3. I’m a bit of an “Excel Geek” and have been in the background backtesting practically EVERY Pick 3 System or Strategy I’ve seen here (as well as some I tried to develop on my own). My goal has never been to predict numbers outright; it’s always been to find a System or Strategy that predicts a pool of possible numbers, with the likelihood of the System or Strategy hitting (hence the winning number being in the pool) being greater than random chance. Like saying “My System has identified a pool of 100 numbers for the next Pick 3 drawing, and there’s a 25% chance the Strategy will actually hit”.

My posting here has been minimal because I’ve been trying to find SOMETHING that stands the test of time (“backtesting time” that is). I got nothing! I’ve labored over hundreds of Excel Spreadsheets and I have yet to find ANYTHING that does better than random chance! Granted, I realize that for every System or Strategy there are “Hot” runs where they hit WAY more than expected compared to random chance (as well as “Cold” runs), but I have found no way of capitalizing on this “clumpiness”. Once you realize it’s ‘Hot” or “Cold”, it’s too late!

So my question to y’all is this: what am I missing? Is there a System or Strategy out there that HAS been shown to work better than random chance? Please point me in the right direction!

Greetings. I don't know or do excel, but I like calculators. They are effective. Random is random so the more you repeat something the more chance it has. Good luck

Perception, perception !. most of the time, the solution to a puzzle is to raise or pose questions. When you pose a question , you create ' assumptions' for the puzzle.

Your perception and the questions posed will depend on two school of ideals , the non-random majority and those who subscribe to the even been random.

Is the event random? Then what questions should raised

My interest has been raised. Adobes has made a good point.

Let me raise another. This 100 number group is straight numbers we can assume or payout is less than money spent. Is this 100 number group for a set number of draws? Is it based on past draw history such as digits, types of combos?

Many believe draws are random to a point. If it is computer based, some sort of algorithm was used to start the ball rolling. If ball drawn expectations can change due to "pretests".

I've spent some time on something similar. A set base for a set group of draws.

Did you do your tracking today ??

Are the 100 numbers for straight hit use only or is there a 25% chance they will have a hit but as a box hit?

If its a straight hit, playing online at .25 a number it cost you $25 a day... if it hits every 4 days... cost is $100 but your return is $225.00..... $125.00 profit.

If this is the case you could wager as much as you want as its gravy... but if its box hits... forget it... your $100 investment over 4 days will earn you $37.50 at .25 a number wagered.... a loss of $62.50

Please let me know... straight hits or boxed.... I want to test them in my Country.

We are all Lucky... just some of us don't realize it!

Perhaps such a system does not exist? I agree all systems have "hot runs". So does a system exist that hits a 65 or 70 % rate playing daily or every draw?

Don't think so..... Part of the challenge is timing, seeing the opportunity and seizing it. That requires being able to understand patterns, a flow if you will, and the patience to know "when".

I’m a lot like you, in many respects; I’ve been a member for quite a while, but I haven’t posted much. Also, like yourself, I have been trying to come up with that one system that will help me beat the lottery (my definition of beating is winning, AT PROFIT, on a consistent basis).

Many times I’ve thought of some ‘new’ method or system, only to come here and find out that it is not so new, and someone has beat me to the punch. So, I scratch that idea and move on to the next ‘new’ idea.

There is always some mind-stimulating conversation on the site, but I don’t join in until I have something to contribute or I have a question that is bugging the heck out of me, and I can’t figure it out myself.

I originally came here for the filtering systems and other tools, and I stayed for the co-operative of like-minded people who post their great ideas here. I think most of the members are of an altruistic nature, and want to discover that one system that will not only help themselves but also the other folks here. This is MY goal, and it sounds like its yours too.

Yes, this is typically what happens and the reason is because there's only so many ways to crunch a 0-9 game...while still arriving at the same conclusion. You can have two different players looking at the same state's draw results while preparing their numbers for the next draw, and, a very good 'neutral player' should be able to properly analyze then provide dialogue on the course of events... without error. I know that I can do it. The primary issue(s), as far as I can see, is with proper implementation of a said system or approach. That said, there's really not much which hasn't been hashed out here at LP.

Okay, let me shine in here for a second to answer your question mitachoo.

There are many systems out there besides this forum. Old and new systems will always exist. The problem with the game is that the payouts at the local level where the powers that be want you to play, don't allow any wiggle room for profit. Online its illegal but you do have a chance to pull ahead. At least long enough to pull back when you see the game become unstable. By unstable, I am referring to those times that you begin to see a series of doubles hit back-to-back (up to 12 doubles).

I have immersed myself deeply into the game like others to find the holy grail, but it doesn't exist. All I can tell you is that you can score some big wins every week by tracking a "40" 3-digit number set. Two weeks go by with no hit from this set and that's when you jump into the game which I like to call the Forecast window of opportunity. I have seen up to 8 hits out of 14 draws achieved from this magic set. The average is 2 hits per week. I will not post this set for obvious reasons. All I can tell you is that this set consists of 33 singles and 7 doubles. Using 3 keys you can reduce this set to 6 combos to focus on. Stick too 2-3 systems and that's it.

Another great strategy is too focus on just singles. I will reveal these fixed pairs to use always on a draw-to-draw basis.. Use the bottom 20 pairs with key digits and that's all you need to get big hits. So if anyone is reading this post, I don't want to see anyone be posting more than 20 pairs anymore. Reduce these 20 pairs by using Wheeler's 15 pairs to find matching pairs.

Why am I doing this? My computer and website has been hacked too many times and I keep my treasured findings on notepad only now.

I read what you said, I already find it interesting with the last 2 draws in my state. I may recall your name from a while ago and do recall you to be a straight up no nonsense player that speaks their mind and is very good. Not that I've had interaction with you before but I think I may recall your name once a while ago with something that turned out to be very good. I appreciate what you posted. Oh, so thank you. And of course shout out to Wheeler as well!

Bingo! Once a player understands this, the advantage becomes crystal clear and these same state run lotteries know this full well. I knew exactly what I was looking at when I found it and I never looked back because I was also struggling with trying to turn a profit due directly to the payout structure. Granted, it was possible and I did it but, for all the work involved it was meaningless once I had to take a hit (loss). Then, I had to factor in all the running around trying to get all my play slips ran through the lottery terminals in time for the draw...along with marking in new play slips when needed. The struggle was real!! On a side note, here's something else I've struggled with for years: with all the technology that we have, why haven't these agencies set things up to where players can also use software to play their numbers via a true online wagering system??? I mean, everything else is now online all in the name of convenience. There must be thousands of ways to allow players to enter their numbers through a reliable personal online account and verification method.

I suppose the all the ramifications of jobs, lottery terminals, and other things outweigh the addition of a more simplistic way to play.
