  As many of you know, Mega Millions is undergoing major changes starting on October 28.  Since both games will be very similar once the Mega Millions game changes, I came up with an idea for one game, instead of two separate games.

  I would call this new game Mega Powerball.  Drawings are held three times a week, Tuesday, Friday, and Sunday.  One would select five numbers from 1-70, and one number from 1-26.  Powerball currently uses pools of 69 and 26 numbers, respectively, and Mega Millions will use pools of 70 and 25 numbers, respectively.  So I am taking the higher of both pools for this new game.

  Per game odds will be around 1 out of 315 million.  Per dollar odds around 1 out of 630 million.  Same price per ticket, $2.
