Before I go on an Excel tangent as I seem to so often do . . . has anyone applied the Pick 3 "String Breakers" method to the bigger non-Pick 3/4 lotteries? I was thinking of applying the methods to my state's Cash 5 lottery (match 5 balls, numbers 1 through 35, $100k jackpot) but don't want to waste my time if someone has gone down this path already.

I played around with the idea 1-2 years ago. As I recall strings of 2 digit numbers 1-35 don't really seam to form. You have to use the right digit for a string, giving you 5- 5 strings to follow, Then you have to come up with the first digit 0-3. I think I strung those as well but, I can't remember much about them.
Winsumlosum's files on pick 3 or 4 are a good place to start. All of the Strings 2-6 are already constructed for you. You pretty much have to build your own from there.

Thanks! I had already digested all the String stuff here and came up with my own spreadsheets. I might just try the Cash 5 things and see what comes out of it.
