  I was looking at the systems tab on this site and saw a quick pick generator. I was wondering, for mega millions and other games, is it better to use the generator here, or get quick picks from the store?

  It doesn't matter.   Drawings are random computerized.   Either or is up to you.  If everyone had the answer we all would be rich.

  Ok, I think I've NOW got it!  First I choose a game I want to win, then I use a RNG to select the numbers which will match the numbers actually drawn during the game.  Dang, it was so obvious.  Only 6 numbers.  All these years, right in front of my face.  I couldn't see it.  Randomly pick the exact numbers that will be drawn, before they are drawn.  Thanks for clearing it up, Raven.  Um, does it matter if the numbers I select to match are by a computerized RNG and the actual numbers drawn come from a ball drop, or is it now back to the drawing board?  Tell me it isn't so...

  It probably doesn't matter but if you like to check what you're playing before making out a play slip use the LP generator.

  LPs quickpicks aren't certified as random. Terminals in most lottery states aren't certified as random either. There are services utilizing outside sources of "noise", such as radioactive decay, to generate closer to true random numbers. For me personally, it doesn't matter. LP QPs and terminal QPs are good enough. I use both.

  For large jackpot games, if one's intention is maximizing the odds of being a sole winner, QPs, regardless of the source, is better compared to hand-selected numbers, which often tend to trend low in the matrix (ages of relatives; anniversary day: 1-31) and/or contain commonly selected patterns (ie. 5, 10, 15, 20, 25; playing a row / column, etc on a playslip).

  Some have noticed, and there are many posts about it on here, that lottery terminal quickpicks can trend low too. Whether that's real or imagined is difficult to say, but it's a real possibility. Combining QP with some high numbers may be the ideal way to go. Choose some numbers and then QP the remainder. Pick-X games most commonly allow for this, but some jackpot games may too. Worth a try the next time when buying tickets.

  Me personally, speaking for myself, Turbo, i'm not one to play too much mega but i do sometimes if real real high $$$

  i love the generator thing, and but i also utilize MB (at store/quick pick) that's how i do it, almost both at times equal.

  If i had only ONE choice?I would utilize store.(QUICK pick) GL tonight, with winning something$$$.
